Hello, I’ve enjoyed this so far, but there is one small detail that nonetheless is going to annoy me more then it should. An actor who is a woman is called an actress, not an actor.

Hmm, maybe this is weird of me but I never really make the distinction, as an aspiring actor (or I guess actress). I guess actor feels gender neutral, like teacher or doctor. But I think you’re right about it being technically incorrect

That is why I said it was a minor issue. I’d live if it was unchanged, I just figured I’d mention it.
Generally speaking, actress is considered outdated along with gendered job terms like “stewardess” and “postman”. Actor is the preferred term for everybody in the job now regardless of their gender.

Pretty much what KZV said. In the time period this takes place, actress would absolutely be the correct term for female MCs, but I’m not interested in being completely accurate.
