The MC is special yes but not overpowered overpowered is like being a god among mortal I don’t get the sense of overpowered from him in anyway although I wanted him to be overpowered will there be a god mode or something like it

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I totally get that and the Reiren scene ended up being a bit too much at once. I’m planning to break it up better in future updates so the worldbuilding feels more natural and easier to digest. Really appreciate you pointing it out!
@tea_with_crumpers So how are we related to Gu Channgi and Ado Nagahina? How below them are we in terms of the clan hierarchy? Also how powerful is the dad? He said he could use gravity powers. Is he like a great warrior of the clan?
As for your connection to Nagahina and Changgi, think of it like the Uchiha clan or the Greyrats as most members just share the name at this point. You’re distantly related to Nagahina through several generations, but with Changgi, it’s pretty much just in name only. The family trees are wide, and most ties are symbolic rather than personal.

for now lets just say that he’s powerful enough to the point that he was given a “fief” instead of receiving severe repercussions by marrying someone from a rival clan. the rest will be explained in the next update
I wonder if our parents are inadvertently stunting our growth by not revealing our potential. But it’s probably more prudent to hide the MC’s potential for now. I wonder if the little sibling will have anywhere near the same power.

I genuinely like the start so far and it sets up a lot of fun things to play with from the PC being fully conscious thus the parents being secretive is completely void and it would be fun having a route where we tell our parents we knew and one where we stay quiet. Another thing being how different we act for a child, a few of the real popular stories on here play the same game and I won’t say it is bad to pull some inspiration but I also would love if you found a fun unique way to play with that aspect in a world like this.
As for suggestions and questions please understand I’m just super invested but I might go a touch overboard on it all just being a worldbuilding enthusiast and this is really my first time seeing a story with tons of potential that is both reincarnation/rebirth and a cultivation story so I wanna take the opportunity now to invest in what I can already see will be great.

I know a lot of stories are using the god mode and ultra weakling difficulties but I thing there is a reason to that and would love to see one path where despite having the perfect set of cards we have absolutely no potential or comprehension skills as far as cultivation goes and a route where we are the absolute best since transcendence is more than power, it’s understanding in the purest sense

I would love if we got a choice of our appearance when we get older as both a customization nerd and just for the genre. A classic cultivation pretty boy, a square jawed western hero look, even a face nobody could love since it would be a super unique option and have fun flavor text (I don’t have any hope in that suggestion since it might be hard to put into the game)

Great work full of potential, the humor is good and has its place and the stat system seems to be shaping up nicely, the premise is also good, we have other 3 martial arts ifs with different themes and vibes but not a isekai which is unique, my only critic is the pacing, the q&a with the teacher baffled me, dont get me wrong i liked the lore and its not really a problem since you can skip it but i recommend giving the player a option to revise and learn on its own pace outside of this interaction, like a codex or library or even the option to talk with the teacher later.

Actually, elemental affinities and bloodline arts are different kinds of sets of power.
Bloodline arts are inherited, such as the power to wield gravity from your patrilineal family.
While elemental affinity is your leaning towards an element, think of it like how they treat elements in Naruto or Avatar.
And to answer your 1st question, yes, it is up to you how you want your Dao eyes to look.
For your 2nd question, maybe yes. Maybe not. There are currently 3 paths that I planned, and maybe in the future it’s possible to change what is set in motion.

Unfortunately, there will be no ultra-weakling/god mode or story mode like in POMA or KAE, as it depends on the player on how they will shape their protagonist. For instance, it’s possible to be a failure as a consequence of terrible decisions. Or you could be a god on earth if you play your cards right.
as for your 7 questions
1 = yes, there are a lot of different races in this world, and you already met two of them.
2&3 = unfortunately this world is not that advance and the most advance type of transportation are still carriage, or Specific Ki imbued artifacts.
4 = for a typical appearance of a Gu you can look at Gu Changgi for reference (excluding physique as every person had their own shape and form) for the Ado it varies because they constantly inter-marry with other people as their territories borders 2 different nation with different ethnic group as it was already mention in the game so it would make sense for a protagonist of any color as they had that in their DNA
5 = yes as the protagonist gets older.
6 = sadly, she doesn’t care. but if we cross her would be our down fall.
7 = who knows, but time is a constant that always change
