You can’t get it if you are playing story mode though… You will be stuck with the beginning skills and can’t get anything new… Even though i think that’s totally dumb idea

You can? Because I have not played the last two updates, i can’t confirm… But before that you can’t get new skills… You can do everything, pass every checks for poison resistance… But the game won’t give you poison resistance even if you survive

I also play story mode from what i have seen it is not shown that you have gotten poison resistance but it is very well implied that you got it in multiple scenarios(in one arena fight against a poison user mc straight up points out that it is useless because they’ve survived something much worse) , so i dont know whether it is a bug or it is supposed to be that way.

The game does tell you in story mode but it doesn’t appear in the talent menu so I’m guessing the author probably forgot to update it.

Yea, I probably should’ve made it more clear.
It’s a somewhat specific path, you need to end up fighting the rebels, kill the leader and not let any of them go after noticing the formation.
(toying with the leader is fine, but requires a perception stat check of 8500 to realise something is wrong)

I hope Nick is an immortal cultivator in disguise because I need this series completed, it’s my absolute favourite IF so far. Excellent entertainment.
Will our choices in the Ruo x MC book author stuff matter in the future, or should I just grab the money and leave it? I was expecting a continuation but there’s none and I’m not sure if it’s because this is a WIP. Maybe it’s just to make the game more lively like the cat beast event?
Also do I need to watch out for eyes of perfect replication? It makes me afraid of using qi during arena matches.
