Got curious about something let’s say it’s an interesting debate.
- Do you prefer your evil route to have more consequences like locking some options and unlocking special options and dialogue.
- Nah just lemme play
Got curious about something let’s say it’s an interesting debate.
There have to be consequences, otherwise it’s no fun (but I say the same for kind and neutral routes)
Smh when I say consequences more like smth that lock choices behind an alignement now.I should have made it clear:sob:
Yeah I don’t like that some choices are locked, my mc is usually kind so I can’t get Yang Bohai as a master. Although it does make sense from a story perspective, going through like another playthrough is tiring.
Technically, you can – your MC might very well think that killing Demon Queen’s son would be doing him kindness, and then you can accept Yang Bohai’s offer of mentorship to protect those who’d otherwise suffer DQ’s wrath.
I’m not doing my MC as specifically kind, I’m just doing somewhat what I think that I would do. I do not want to piss off someone called the demon queen. But yeah I did do that last time to see what happens
Also if you kill the demon queen’s son, you get ugly-ed twice
As long as being good doesn’t close Mei Mei’s route, I don’t really see a problem
I have a hard time seeing a good/kind MC getting with mei mei unless she changes. Everything she does goes against what a good/kind MC would want. I don’t see mei mei changing. She strikes me as a snake till the day she dies. Sadly.
I can understand that point, but closing off choices for an already open RO is ridiculous, because while it’s true that Mei may not change, a MC who was good can become neutral or evil in her route, or one who is willing to commit atrocities for love
It is kinda strange that my MC has good relations with Mei Mei while being “benevolent”. But its Mei Mei so meh.
I do like the interpretation of a foolish simp but I get your point
I’m pretty sure that if you tell Yang Bohai you killed Mo Long out of pity he’ll reject you
Yes, but you don’t need to tell him that.
“I can fix her” is very much what a kind MC would think, probably. Whether that’d make them look like an useful idiot or actually have some impact on Mei Mei is another story.
The ole classic “I can fix her”. Usually blows up in your face but hey this is cultivation most things blow up in your face.
“I can fix her” vs “she can make me worse”
But Mei really isn’t even the most evil objectively, absolutely all the ROs are willing to kill and everything, so meh
She’s pretty bad. Her evilness is subtle. She’s a snake in the grass. To me that’s worse then being open about it. Something about faking a smile with evil intentions really irk me. But in the grand scheme of the cultivation world I guess she’s not too crazy just way more subtle then most.
Is mei mei suppose to be the opposite of Ai? It seems like they are complete opposites with Ai being vocal, and helping the lowers while mei mei is subtle and does anything to move up.
Am not sure if Ai is as inclined towards it as the rest, although after the time skip things have possibly changed.
But a good MC really wouldn’t follow any of the ROs:
Caihong seeks revenge against the Tangs (justified).
Tangs don’t care about anyone else but themselves and their empire.
Ai hates nobles and believes she’s always right or sees herself as some kind of hero who will probably turn into a villain later.
Xiwen has many secrets, I’d say he has even more than Mei, honestly.
Mei only seeks her own benefit to free herself from her clan
Tigress wants to massacre her people to demonstrate her power? I don’t really remember well what her goal was
