You need to have decent enough relationship with him in order to have the talk, otherwise he’ll brush you off because he doesn’t like you.
Yeah so just don’t be a dick to him in your first meeting and if you go with Ai to the wolf thing you have to have a good reason for fighting and don’t call him an asshole

If you want the option to talk to long chen then the way to do that is when he jun asks you to join his clan you say no.
does saving fat boy only give you his restraunt and spear twin? if so I’m letting him die everytime until we get more of spear twin.
Same question with going Chu route. Does going with him only give us whiny orphan boy etc?
It lets you get to elemental level 3 if you have level 2.

Is the only way to fight LC is to have the bomb? Because no matter what I try, I only get the option that says “Seems like we have no choice…”, I gave the bomb away so I could get the favor but now I don’t have the option to fight him available.
No, you can use the power of golden seed if you don’t use it to fight goons before you get to face Long Chen.
Note, you need relationship with Ruo that’s 60+ for this to become an option during the talks. Because if Ruo doesn’t like you then it’s down to you and Xiwen and that’s not enough.

I think there’s a bug, cause everytime I enter arena people keep killing me cause I killed they’re sister/brother?. My virtue is perfect and I’m extremely honorable I never killed anyone and also people treat me like I killed the demon queen son, I spared him.

People will only treat you as DQ’s child if you have surname “Pan”, did you modified it with console ?
Nah my name is Opatos I did a standard playthrough story mode, I don’t know why people treat me like I’m evil. Also Mei keep ruffling my hair when she’s trying to get my heartss blood when I’m bald and shaven.
You mean your surname is “Opatos” ? If so then the game will either turn you into a spineless traitor who abandoned their clan or an unfortunate guy who have to deal with DQ, it depends on the scene

I didn’t do anything, I always spare people and avoid killing, I also refused to betray my clan but everyone in the arena still act like I’m a villian they keep telling me they won’t let me get away from killing they’re sister/brother,l. I don’t remember they’re names but I’ll play again and take a screenshot. And everyone else outside of the arena act like I killed the demon queen son, I actually spared him he probably die from his injuries or someone else killed him.

Went for another playthrough again after the recent updates and saw the new Arena Fights, and then did them a couple of times with different styles of fighting. Although the end results for some of them seem to be the same…
Is there any way to avoid killing some of them like the “dancing girl” new one? because my MC seems to only end up killing her no matter what even though I’m full-on virtuous and spare basically everyone that I fight. A couple more of the new fights also seem to end up with me just killing them without any choice of sparing them.
Do you mean stuff like you cracking their skulls on the ground? They don’t actually die from that. They do worse stuff to you

Hmm i could be remembering things wrong, but i could swear in the older version of the game there was opportunity to meditate and raise your stats at some point during the expedition before day 10. But now there’s no such thing, and you are just presented with perception check of 2500, which means the only way to pass it is to take the pill from Mei, advance before the expedition and max out the perception before the expedition starts. Otherwise, you are simply fucked, and bound to miss out on 1200 stat points even if you are sitting on a pile of exp gathered during earlier part of the expedition.
Which… doesn’t strike me as ideal in terms of design, to put it mildly.
fake edit: okay, checking older version of the script it wasn’t that you had opportunity to increase yours stats, it was that the perception check was against value of 250, not 2500. The issue generated with this change still stands. Please consider tweaking the value (or adding opportunity to allocate your exp beforehand) so the player isn’t effectively forced into single path in order to obtain the bonus.

With only a few exceptions none of the arena fights end up in the death of the person your fighting against. Yang Bohai and several Xiantians are on standby to heal someone from a fatal wound if one occurs. In one arena fight if you lose your head gets cut off but a Xiantian appears and reattaches it befor you die.
