I don’t even know how you came to the conclusion that she planned to kill us with that bomb in the first place. Nothing in the interaction with Long Chen suggests that as far as I remember

You can reject her offer, but she doesn’t always kill you. I’d have to play the game again or dig into the code to see which option you need to choose to get through that bad end.
