Then obviously, it means that the queen having children does matter, and if the Queen has to have children, then, it follows, that legitimacy of blood does matter.
I just want to be sure that the issue of political marriage, children, curses and so forth does not become repetitive or over-heated. I can see that there are some disagreements here, but so far people are being civil even though they seem to disagree in good faith–let’s keep it that way.
If you have already posted on this particular issue multiple times, you may wish to take a brief break to let things cool and other voices be heard.

I suppose being a romantic partner might be what it could be instead of a political partnership. But what are you saying it could become a political partnership instead of, when it’s already a political partnership?
Dammit, you’re dense. Twins didn’t cause a curse. The birth of twins is a bad omen. What kind of superstition is that?! (interesting world-building for sure) King shot lucky first time to have children, which happen to bear twins. Then ill-intent rumours for five years about queen’s infertility. Then BOOM: 3rd child. Maybe its the king who wasn’t virile enough to score 2nd success and it took 5 years.

Ehh… what are you asking exactly? in cog there are multiple options on how you want to interact with other character aren’t there? yeah i just want the author to give more diverse option on how we can form these relationship, either as political, romance, friendship, enemies or whatever.

Being barren is the curse. It’s not “ill-intent rumors”, it’s literally a curse, that’s literally what it says.
Perhaps we should discuss this again when we have a little more information about the world of this game.

I’m asking what you think the nature of the relationship is currently, because you suggested that might become what it already is.
I thought that’s just Soothsayers being dramatic and adding some pazzazz to their stuff. It’s not a literal curse, I think the literal translation would be like ‘Ayo homies, this queen probably infertile af. Peace.’ Keyword here being probably

Love the new update so far! You’ve incorporated a lot of the feedback quite well. I really like the arranged marriage over the previous options as I feel like that is slightly more realistic for our royal’s standing.
Is it possible for the player to chose the gender of the arranged marriage partner? It might suffice for those who want het pairing and those who are fine with or want m/m, nb/m, etc pairings.

I don’t really care about the giving birth thing, I just don’t want to be forced into a marriage with a guy. At least of they were gender selectable something could come out of it if I choose to, but right now it just is a annoying thing forced on me with nothing positive.

You could ask this question before the announcement and have the Mom mom only mention the person’s gender after you have your sexuality picked if you, hopefully imo, decide to make them gender selectable.
