Actually the reserved stat bar wont go lower than 51℅ the whole of ch1
So will there be large scale battles? Like are we a commander now? I think the game says military tribunes command 1,000 men.
If so, how much authority will we have over the composition of our army/command? Will it be full on like I, the forgotten one?
Also, is it just us and that other guy (I forgot their name, but they’re named in the senate scene) who were made military tribunes? The end of chapter 2 made it seem like there were a bunch of us.
Edit:
Also, the visions make me wonder if our grandfather knew something that we didn’t? Like a conspiracy or plot of some kind. Idk if I’m misremembering but there was a short scene where someone was told they could see the future by an old man? I was wondering if that’s our grandfather. Maybe he was like Daenys the Dreamer and saw some calamity and that’s why he started scheming and plotting. Also those 5 pillars, I think that might have been our grandfather? Idk. There’s a lot of moving pieces lmao.
Also who was that senator that flipped the vote? I hope we get some more info on them.
Also is our uncle like the prime minister or something?
hmm ![]()
Hey, I’m glad you enjoyed it! ![]()
Oh, I’ll take a look and try to fix it asap. Thank you for pointing it out!
I hope you’ll enjoy the new content!
If you have any feedback, suggestions, or critiques as you play, I’d love to hear them.
please give us the option/ability to save Juna, I need her to live. It wrecks me everytime I play
As much as I agree with you how is a 12 year old mc supposed to save Juna?
I can only think of two ways rn, One is handing ourselves over to Erik in exchange for letting Juna go but that isn’t in Eriks character. Or make it so you can only save her in cheat mode since you have max stats beating them but any important characters like Erik escape. I’m willing to do anything to save her tbh.
As I read it,
Juna’s death is pretty critical to the plot given it ties Juna’s sister/Erik/Nemio and most importantly MCs feelings/motivations going forward. Asking to save her is like asking for a different story lol.
Yes—both large and smaller-scale battles are planned. In fact, one is coming very soon.
Well, you’re the leader of a regiment (1,000 men), which is around 1/12th of a Cohortum (commanded by a General). The Republic is sending two full-strength Cohortums to the west, and each regiment is led by a tribune.
Well…not quite. While you’re a tribune, you won’t have much say in your regiment’s composition—that’s the General’s call. Your role is to lead your troops in battle and execute orders, not dictate recruitment or structure. Think more like the Infinity series in terms of unit management.
Since each tribune commands 1,000 men, the two Cohortums heading west will have 24 tribunes in total. You and Zenon were simply the last two appointments.
Well, of course, I can’t really answer this…but all I’m going to say is that you’re on the right path with this line of thinking.
You haven’t met him yet, but he’ll show up later in the story.
He is closer to a Roman consul, but there are certain differences. As First Citizen, he holds the Senate’s highest executive authority. Besides his administrative duties, he can convene emergency sessions, propose legislation, and—alongside the Council—propose the appointment of key officials and military leaders in times of need and, in most cases, war. Also, they have the right to veto any motion presented before the Senate except for a few instances (like a motion to remove him from office if he is suspected of high treason, corruption, striving for tyranny, etc.)
@MadAdam Yeah, that’s pretty much it. I could write an alternate version where Juna lives, but then I’d probably never actually finish the story. ![]()

I know her death is vital to the story I just wish it wasn’t! Hurts like hell every time.
I’ve uploaded a fix, so there should be now. If you have a save before that part, I think you can access it. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.![]()
O i forgot to say that the stat problem is in cheat mode
No, that is likely another bug. I just uploaded a quick fix to make sure you can’t replay Iris’s scene once you’ve seen it. About those different options—can you tell me what they were or send a screenshot? Also, did you load an old save from before the update, play from the beginning, or use the ‘Skip to Chapter 2’ option?"
Ah, now I know what the problem was! The check was supposed to be this: “*if (ch1_met_iris = true) and (irisrefuse = false)”, and it was this: “*if (ch1_met_iris = true) and (irisrefuse = true)”. It effectively forced you into a choice because normally in your situation, you’d get to pick between these choices:
And because of the error, it automatically picked the first option for you, and the second time you met Iris, that option was missing because you’ve chosen to pretend that the two of you didn’t meet so it wouldn’t show up in that case.
I’m really glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for giving it a read and for helping me squash some more bugs!![]()
Thank you, I think the problem is that the values I assigned to the choices are too small to noticeably impact your character’s personality stats. I’ll tinker a bit with the numbers tomorrow, and that should fix the problem.
I’m irrationally invested in this game ![]()
Thank you, I’ll do my best to make it worth your investment, then.![]()
How tall is very tall considered in world? am i 6’0+ or 6’5+?
Around 6’0"-6’3"+. My main reference points were Viro and Archibald, who are 191 cm and 192 cm, respectively (that’s roughly 6’2" -“6’3”, I think?). But that’s considered very tall in the Republic, so for example, the Ceovarii (Eric’s people) are much taller than most of the other races.
