I think the House Guards would still get slaughtered tbh, and a child cleaving a mutant would be too much, even for the big meme.
Slip a note into Nemio’s bag before he leaves that simply reads “Wouldn’t it be funni if you returned to the Estate on X date?/personally escort MC to the Capital?”
Hell, with some finagling, MC can still be traumatised because Nemio tears through the bandit gang and Erik like a hot knife through tepid butter, and that would be intense.

Oh my, this is actually so good! The characterization is what I really like about this. It’s really make me invested with all of them, which is very rare in my own behalf. And the writing, oh boy the writing is amazing! I usually skim through block of texts because it’s boring and too descriptive (In my opinion, please don’t shower me with knives), but this one is really make me read each words like I would die if I don’t. I can’t believe I didn’t find this WIP sooner, but I’m glad I did found it.

Yeah, sorry for the blocks of text. I try to keep things concise, but somehow, they always end up expanding instead. Still, it’s nice to hear that you actually enjoyed reading through all of it.
Oh, yeah, I have an eternal grudge with those pronouns errors. I swear, every time I make a deep dive to hunt them down, I always get reports that there are still more left.
As for the “Leo” thing, that one’s on me. When I’m writing in Docs, I tend to use “Leo” as a placeholder name for the MC (don’t ask me why, I don’t even know a Leo), and then I swap it with the actual variable later. It should be fixed now, but thank you for pointing it out!
Sorry… kind of. I went back and forth a lot on whether to do that so early. I wasn’t sure how people would react, but honestly, seeing responses like yours makes me feel like it was the right decision.

I mainly used it to highlight that this choice is the one that actually kicks off the one-sided romance subplot (since with the red heart, I usually highlight the choices that give romance progress with the character). But I like your interpretation better, to be honest.

Hey! Sorry, time zones and all that…
It really depends on the context. For example, in the puppet show scene, I didn’t include heart indicators for Iris since there’s no romance progression at that point—though there is a variable tracking if the MC blushes. Generally, I use heart indicators to signal when a choice gives rom progress or leads to a rom scene. I’ve just uploaded a new version where I fixed a few spots where the hearts were missing.
Yes! While it’s not directly mentioned in Chapter 2, the MC definitely takes it with them to the war. I might add a short paragraph to the preparation scene to mention that.
Yeah, that’s fixed now! I’m not entirely sure why I had that check in there, but I’ve removed it, so the option should be available now.

It makes more sense if the eye color were different, but even with the same color, the resemblance can still be there. He might mean the shape, the size, or even a certain shade or look in the mc’s eyes that reminds him of their grandfather (I might be wrong, but that’s what I thought while writing this scene).
I was going to justify including that choice as a shy variation of the last one, but after reading through it again, I realized it would make more sense to only make that available if the mc blushed during the puppet show.

Naa Ben and Juna behave like siblings. My thing is Juna hesitates a bit when she talks about Nemio and also they have the same kind of mark on the hand from whatever spell. Just my opinion on their kind of relationship
