actually i think there’s only 0ne immortal other then the mc and she in hospital bed others got taken out so that makes it the only two immortals.

Now I’m confused. Didn’t Siddhartha say something about finally finding the right challenger for our MC, only for them to be killed. Wouldn’t that make them seem like they couldn’t stand up to the MC on their own and had a challenger of near power/perfect power to the MC to do it for them. I also wondered why they needed a challenger in the first place, as if the MC was openly hostile to them when they all first met.

@DrDense you mixed some of Wukong’s stuff at the end of chapter 2 where the MC has the Dawn Praetor captive. Otherwise, great chapter as usual and now I think this chapter just confirmed that Pele is the strongest power wise. Wasn’t expecting her to make a miniature sun! That’s waaaaay overpowered! Also loved how I insta-killed the Cloud Praetor when I picked the “explode” option. Wasn’t expecting him to get that recked.

I might be alone, but I’m disappointed that there is no option to use Hans’ ashes to make a pot.

um they might of met in the past war and they proble help them end the war so i would say there not hostile towards the mc since there asking for there help against this ancient being that was sealed away by someone granted it was a stupid idea of them to unseal it instead they should of combined there powers and reseal it back up until they got the help of the mc then all went back to the seal and only then start the battle with the ancient being and it might of ended up differently.

Something I forgot to mentioned was that in Pele’s chapter 2, when I started melting down everything, it made me feel like Thordak from Vox Machina. That dragon definitely showed how powerful and fearsome a Red Dragon can be (especially an Elder) so it was fun feeling like that.

While reading the scene with where Pele is being interrogated by the judge , Pele could truthfully claim to have existed before the earth cooled as that is what I infer from their intro, Pele seems to be more along the lines of a force of nature taking human form so considering that ,especially a prideful or bombastic mc could generally claim to have existed before the birth of humanity

I really do not like Haley, its clear she is a manipulative type, yet there is no option to just blow her head off. I hate characters who try to manipulate the mc.

So weird thought but what if the myths that we dont see like for instance Hades or Vulcan were either killed by someone like ares who we meet or is it possible they fought Timur before coming fully into their power? I think its safe to assume timur hunted humans down whenever he could do so as long as they were at a certain power level. Anyways might be thinking to much into this but i think Timur and the group fighting him is the reason we don’t meet many people like us which was pointed out when we met ares.

Pele’s origin reveals that not everyone deified in legend is actually immortal, so there is a third possibility- Some of our peers would have just died because for all their power not aging wasn’t part of the package.
