I think you’re misunderstanding what I’m saying cause that doesn’t happen in other games at all. When you make a decision to change a stat in the game the change takes effect immediately and stays in effect until another choice affecting that stat is made. What I am saying is happening is when I make a change in the cultivation menu. And click return to game It undos the decision I made in the cultivation menu and reverts my stats back to what they were before I made that choice. And I have to go back into the menu and fix it or otherwise if I don’t and continue the game I will be playing with the reverted stats instead of the increased ones I should have

The techniques are not implemented yet; I suppose it will be in the next update as that was part of the content that didn’t make it into this update
Regarding the stats, honestly, I don’t know why that happens to you. It has never happened to me, at least not unless I click ‘return game’ and enter the stats again; that cancels what I did before. Usually, when I do something in the cultivation menu, I exit the stats with the ‘return page’ button, and I turn the page. If I want to check my stats, I do it after I turn the page but this is normal in all the games here, as far as I know, because it’s not the first game where this happens to me

@cultivator-anon Training your skills option in chapter 3 actually takes away two months of training for each skill even though the option says it is only supposed to take away 1 month

How important are elements to a playthrough?
Depending on what element you choose it can give you an advantage in a fight.
For example Fire Types work better against opponents that use Ice
And if you use water element you’ll become more powerful surrounded by water and so on and so forth.
The lore also seems to regard those who can use elements as significantly stronger than those who can’t.
Outside of these cases you also will get the option to use your element to attack or defend rather than using your Cores at the expense of a Chi Point. You will also still need a pretty decent Soul Stat if you intend to fight way since the Soul stat affects how much Chi you can use.

I wondered how it worked and how important it is. I guess I’ll have to do it to have a better chance of winning later instead of just counting on normal attacks to work.
There’s a frequent glitch that happens where you’re trapped in the Stat/Journal/Cultivation menus, even when you press “Return To Game”. It’s unfortunately happened to me twice without knowing.

That’s a choicescript glitch that can happen if you save in the menu (and right after checking the menu, I’m now hearing). The new CS update appears to block saving in the menu area so that should block it. Still working on the next update (rewrote parts for aesthetics) and will hopefully have it posted when CSIDE and Dashingdon update to the newest ChoiceScript version.

On the plus side, you can do it on the very last month.
That looks like a frequent bug. As other said, it appears when you save on the stat page, but also if you save right after leaving the stat page.

Really? I’ve never encountered it before despite playing several other games on Dashington. Though, now that you mention it, I think Aura Clash is the first game I’ve played that makes extensive use of the Stat Menu, so that might be why I’ve never really encountered it until now.
It also happens if you save after checking the menu sometimes.

When Crusher Mao. Thinks we are about to given to him as slaves along with our family he threatens our mother but that got me thinking. Who is Jacks mom? Is she still alive? And And were her and Chrusher Mao even together in the first place or did he “take” her from someone else?
Depending on the answer that partially explain Jacks issue with the MC’s whole family. He might be jealous in a sense.

Two ways to avoid it
-
before going to the menu make a save , and then enter menu. After you are done come back and reload the save

if you want to make some changes in the main menu like allocate AP or something then after coming back out don’t save for two panels . After that it should be safe to save
