“You must set up the party before you can eat the cake.”
Basically you have to wait for the juicy stuff. Also, the Shrine maiden fling doesn’t really serve anything other than getting your MC exhausted after the “battle” they had, adding two more months to your stay at the temple, and getting everybody at the temple pissed at you, including Jin. Poor guy wanted to get some action for himself
Wouldnt yin and yang be more darkness and light
Yin and Yang=Darkness and Light is a shallow-level understanding of Yinyang. Yin and yang refers to pretty much any opposites that complement each other. For example, men and women, or in this case fire and water.
Still worth it
I never said it wasn’t.
Fixed most for the next patch, what’s the problem in the top pic?
I personally love just how petty and desrespectful you can be to Taio. An example:
“You really want to know how I defeated him?” You ask in amusement, ignoring the pain of your torture. “The same way I’ll defeat you.”
Taio’s expression remains stone-faced. “Enlighten me.”
“I bedded his mother until he killed himself out of shame. We were going at it front of his crew, in every position, for days at a time. Poets still write about it. Come to think of it, she was your mother too wasn’t she?”
Oh my god yes! I usually play an (mostly) honorable Mc, but I still pick this option whenever it shows up
Edit: And the way Leona reacts to it is so the icing on the cake for me
That exchange is even better if MC is a woman. /s
Yeah, making fun of the size of a guy’s junk is fun and all, but the pure menace and lack of respect and decency you can feel through the screen as you describe the act of banging Taio’s mom for days gets me every time.
I’m surprised Taio didn’t just get to throwing chi-empowered hands once MC said that.
The comedic moments in this game are amazing
Angelo slapping you when you first meet him
Desdemona asking you if you’re retarded
Leona calling Bo your retainer!
My favorite one though has to be picking all the sips tea options at the magistrate’s house
This is why I like Aura clash slightly more than Path of Martial Arts.
POMA has a better gameplay and power system and more complex characters.
But AC is just has too many likeable charcters and a more upbeat and fun tone. Plus, the visuals are stellar.
I’ll freely admit i’m odd one out here, but this kind of claims only ever feel to me like self-own – like, “are you really so pathetic you feel you need to brag about getting laid like it’s some kind of achievement, smh.” So yeah, i’ll take making fun of the guy’s tiny junk any day of the week. /s
I get where you are coming from.
Besides, any and all insults towards Evil Elmer Fudd (Taio) is approved.
Also, we don’t need to brag about getting laid.
cough Kosuke cough cough Shrinemaiden
Yeah at the moment I’m liking aura clash a bit more than POMA mainly because in aura clash I actually feel like a genuine badass of course it’s also evident we’re just a big fish in a small pond atm but also in AC it doesn’t feel like there’s a desperate need for us to be the strongest of all time. At the moment my MC just wants to be stronger than Jack even if only by the tiniest of margins and even if he fails as long as he comes close that’s good enough for me.
Whereas in POMA I constantly feel like a rag doll being constantly tossed around. And I feel like MC is desperately trying to get stronger pushing his mind and body to his absolute limits only to be constantly reminded he is still weak
@cultivator-anon One thing I was wondering about the lore of the outer lands. I get that we are in a region of low aura and most people are weaker because of it but how come there are such immensely strong beasts and spirits in these lands as well? Especially in the Outer North it mentioned over there that there are so many powerful ice elementals and other spirits that they evolve into a demonic horde but where are they getting necessary chi and power for their evolutions in a land with such low natural aura and sparse population of aura users? If they thrive on chi to survive wouldn’t the stronger ones migrate to the inner kingdoms where the land is more populated with more aura users?
The Outer Provinces only have powerful Spirits/Beasts/Fiends because they’re old and unchecked, the Outer Provinces are huge and untamed. It’s not that the central powers can’t tame them, it’s that holding territory in the Outer Provinces is a curse for whoever is stationed there, so those people usually leave if they have any talent. If they don’t, their talented kids might leave. If they don’t, their grandkids might. Brain drain essentially causes most settlements to never advance passed a single city-state or worse, become abandoned fortress-towns entirely after a generation or two. As such there are some frighteningly old Beasts/Spirits/Fiends that no one has caught onto or beaten since they’ve nested in untamed areas so long.
As for the Outer North issue, those creatures attacking are from the arctic continent to the north of Imperial Rasen which has higher Aura Pressure but is almost unlivable for most humans. Funny enough, due to how big the Outer Provinces are, if you live in the southern half of Outer North you probably are never affected directly by the invading ice armies. It’d be like living in Maine and everyone thinks you have Connecticut’s problems.
Yeah. I’d rather have Jack try (and fail) to bully me than Tang Ruo telling me for the eleventh time how useless and weak I am.
Ans the whole rebel vs Celestial Empire just bums me out. Like bruh I’m trying to become the strongest, I don’t need your politics.
If I am not mistaken on that playthrough one of the elements picked was darkness, the other was storm. I should replay it to figure out the bug. The mc was also female.
