Feedback
Summary
I am particularly looking for feedback on:
Did the career-specific scenes (Actor, Singer, etc.) feel distinct enough? And the paths "Scandal, Rising, etc.)?
English is not my first language, so any help with phrasing or grammar would be immensely appreciated!
Any bugs you might find.
Thanks in advance!

I absolutely love what you’ve done with this so far! Currently played the Rising Star Singer route and found it fascinating how plucky and easily swept up in the wave of her fame my character was. So disappointed that Carter is an obnoxious ass so far despite my MC’s best efforts, but I know that slow-burn enemies-to friends-to lovers pay off is going to hit so well. Too bad I’m already so obsessed with Nile’s chemistry with my MC, dude’s such a little himbo so far–I wonder how he’s going to unfold and show himself in other ways, especially with the fake romance underway!
Seriously can’t wait to see how this goes from here and almost sobbed when it came to an end. Thank you for the work, it was so easy to immerse myself into!
I played this today and I love the concept! I think the pacing is good, and the story was captivating. I played as a Fem MC and picked Male for all RO options. Here are some thoughts / questions:
I picked the rising star option, and no other celebrities really seemed that interested in my MC the gala. I think that can go either way with a rising star, so it could be helpful to have some text acknowledging not a lot of these people know who the MC is yet or that they liked ‘X’ work. For example, I figured Nikes Pike would have a longer moment of acknowledgement of the MC’s work.
How old are the characters? This is not normally important to me, but in a Hollywood setting it is because people who are 50 date 18 year olds. I’d like to have some frame of reference for how old my MC is in comparison to the other characters. There was mention that Niles looks ageless. Which made me think “Maybe we avoid that RO.”
You did a good job making Carter dislike-able but intriguing enough to not write off entirely. At least for me!
I have some not necessary suggestions like being able to pick your family background rural vs suburban, family wealth etc. Or having a desired role type for actors (Action, Thriller, Drama, Sitcoms etc.)
Aw, thanks for your kind words!! I’m so happy to see you enjoyed the singer path and that your character is living their best life About Carter…yeah, he’s kind of difficult right now, but I hope the payoff will be worth it! And I definitely understand the Nile obsession
Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback!!
Whoa thank you for your extensive feedback! I’m so happy you loved the concept and the pacing
You’re right, they should acknowledge the MC career and I’ve taken notes for the next update.
Don’t worry about the age gap. I picture the MC in their late 20s, and Carter at 34 yo is the oldest RO. So you’re safe to romance Nile, too!
So glad you like Carter! Making him unlikable from the first meeting was one of my fears, glad to know he’s interesting enough cause…well, he’s your partner now hehe
Thanks for the suggestions! I can tell you that in the Actor paths you’ll eventually get to choose a specific role type. As for the background options, I’ll definitely give it some thought, thanks!!
Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment, it means a lot
This was really fun, I played the Scandal origin (I think?) and I loved it! Being a certified Mess is the best! I think I’m going to go for the Carter romance first because the set-up with the fake relationship seems pretty promising so far! Just finished reading the latest Infamous update yesterday so I was in the perfect mood for more modern celebrity drama stuff
A 10/10?! Thank you so much, you just made my day!
I’m thrilled to hear you enjoyed the chemistry with Nia and the banter with Chris and Ruby.
Regarding the gender mix-ups: I’m sorry! It’s definitely on my list to fix for the next patch. If you remember any specific spots where it happened, feel free to let me know! Thanks again for playing and for your sweet comment!
I tried three versions of the game and I loved all of them. The story surprised in a really good way because I wasn’t expecting read something this good at this time of the day.
I really enjoyed playing a scandalous musician as much as a established actor and model. I also liked the ro’s options. As someone said above, the pr partner is someone we can love and hate at the same time, I think it keep things interesting hahah. I’m already waiting for moreee
this is so good! I love all the characters already (except my ex, he can get lost)
I played as a scandalous actress, and I thought the immersion was good. The reputation path you choose kinda influences your personality, so I’ll have to try them all out to find the one that’s right for me.
The story also flows really nicely so far, there hasn’t been a boring moment and it also didn’t feel rushed. I just love games like this, where you can get invested so easily.
I really enjoyed the demo. I played as a male!mc rising musician with female love interests, and I gotta say that arguing with Cora was so fun but Nia definitely stole my heart with how adorable I found her. Keep up the good work!
