What is the worst ending you got?

Dying right at the end of soul stone war by following the same choices as I’d done throughout the whole story.

Turns out resisting everything and being stubborn work right up until the end when all the sudden it doesn’t.

Even though the story says you can force a stone into submission.

I’ll be honest, I don’t think you can really qualify the Samurai of Hyuga’s conclusions as “endings”. They’re basically cliffhangers for the next book, and usually set up what the next conflict will be.

Affairs of the court is a bit of weird game.

I mean, a Queen that “loves” you constantly cheats on you.

I deleted it instantly.

I prefer choosing that young chick and living poor while building a rich life as opposed to living with a… ‘woman’

You mean the last battle where your character can either hold castle, charge with his Comrades entire division of cavalry or flee the battle?

You only die because your men aren’t loyal to you.

I charged straight in with all of my men in a perfect wedge formation cutting down antari within seconds,

Then came the Church hussars and a glorious end to many of my dragoons.

Only to be saved by a miracle. Highlander Regiment and later knighted,

The losses in the game are terrible, can compare the events as something described in Illiad and history.

What a glorious game.

Well, Murdering for the thrill needs a different kind of tenacity and callousness, true.

But what you WILL discover is that the soldiers SEEK the thrill of adrenaline.

Many veterans simply get back in military, if they can, or police, or do some crazy sports.

It’s addicting. The Danger. The fact any moment Might be your last.

It makes for an glorious story.

Take French old guard as an example, the ending was truly sorrowful.

Napoleon defeated, Many of the Old guard decimated,

The stupid King disbanded an ELITE of the ELITE unit.

The Veterans with 20 years of experience!

New government was very suspicious of them and a lot of Old guards enlisted back in the army.

They were regarded with a LOT of suspicion which obviously impacted their lives.

People were very judgemental of them and weren’t appreciated for the sacrafices they’ve made.

Then, came the Body of Napoleon to Paris, old guards lined up in their old Uniforms and saluted one last time.

20 years of glory, ending sorrowful but it’s history so beautiful.

As Napoleon says, "Without Glory is death everyday.

Some men die under the shade of their olive tree, Some change the world even in defeat." - Emperor of France, Napoleon.

It’s not really because it’s basically Henry VIII/ Anne Boleyn with magic where you play Anne. Henry cheated constantly on all of his wives (and that was kind of seen as normal at that point in history that the King would be likely to take mistresses) which is where that story point has come from.

In Tin Star, at the end of my Renegade playthrough, Carrie developed a laudanum addiction when she and my Marshal ended the story in New York after killing Frederick Upton. No one else got a happy ending either (except for the people who left Lander County before the end of the story such as Kevin the blacksmith, Mother Maddy, among others). It was a valid end to the blood-soaked saga of my Marshal, but it wasn’t a particularly pleasant one (not like I was expecting sunshine and roses anyway, but still…).

In The Parenting Simulator, I don’t like the endings when the Child keeps the Parent at arm’s length. Again, it’s a valid ending to the story (since there’s no right or wrong way to play the game), just not one I like.

I suppose early-death endings don’t bother me–Tin Star, which I still consider the greatest CSG of all time, can have the Marshal die during character creation–as much as end states of the game that I’m not fond of.

In ‘A Study of Steampunk’ when your MC is a killer after the loss of your friend Finch.

after the killing you go to your old boss, tell him that you killed and you can get this achievement:

Winter Soldier

Brainwashed into Arthur Woodward’s light-eater army.

Wow, I mean…I’m a bad guy but come on, that’s really awful xD

I’ve only ever gotten bad endings in The Fog Knows Your Name.

It’s such a great horror story, but it’s sooo frustrating how stat heavy the game is.
