Not sure this is your problem, but did you make sure to put the *sm_init command after all of your *create commands? That’s what caused my unable to *sm_save before *sm_init error.
Right before meeting Carlton I got a game-stopping error:
9 line 907: invalid @{} at letter 34; 'g +1' is equal to 4 but there are only 3 options
I did really like the revisions in the part I was able to read, particularly the revised scene with Adrian mentioning Sabrina’s home life.
I’ll definitely look at this, I think this might be the error. I put it at the very top above all my create commands, which would explain why it didn’t work lmfao.
That was a workaround for the quicktest, I’ll fix that right quick.
And just like that, those issues are fixed (saving included)! If there’s anything else, please let me know.
Not really an issue, but I really like the portraits and description of the MC and the other character 
I meant, choosing “eh, he/she’s okay”/“he’s my friend and that’ll never change” type of answers to the initial “what do you think about him/her” won’t keep you from pursuing romance with said character later on?

Correct! You will never get locked out of a romance even if you say you don’t like someone. You may run into difficulties later if you’re initially rude to them and then try to pursue them as they won’t be as receptive, but you can still try. 
I feel like you missed an opportunity for Madison to make a snide remark about Sabrina when she asks for gender and we all are answering “male” “female” robotically. 
Other than that I liked all the character interactions and the premise of story kind of reminds me of Maniac from Netflix.
I keep getting a 404 error just before the party’s about to start. Is that a problem on my end?

Hi! This is cool! The characters have an indie teen vibe (sorta like Night in the Woods) which imo is always a good vibe to have.
Sabrina calling the MC cute when he confesses having a crush on Adrian is in itself very cute. I hereby adopt Sabrina.

Hey y’all! It’s been a little over a month since the last update, so I just wanted to fill everyone in on what’s been happening in the meantime.
I’m three weeks out from graduation, which means I’m about to become an adult-adult soon! I’ve been feverishly searching for a job, so that’s taken away a lot of writing time from me. I’ve also been looking at getting a diagnosis for ADHD, which has been a major process through my university. That being said, I’ve still been writing and I am almost done with the first section of Chapter 2.
I’ve also been considering setting up a Patreon. This is where I’d like to get your feedback! Would you be willing to support me on Patreon, and what rewards would you like to get? I was thinking small previews, large previews, contributor credit in the final game, and early access to unfinished chapter drafts (like, I finish a section and you get to play it before the full chapter is released to the public). Just to note, I understand that there can be limitations with using Patreon for CS games. The subject was discussed here, and as far as I can tell, you’re not allowed to offer paid access to anything directly involving CS but can offer access to other things. I fully understand that. That’s why I want to keep the perks to story-related or project-related things I know I can deliver, like previews and early access. They’ll keep me motivated to write so that I can deliver content on a deadline.
