There is something wrong with the code for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th choice.
When it came to who would come to the Night Owls bar with me I called Skylar but instead of him showing up it was Santana.
I believe it was said at the cafe meeting that Santana would go with the mc, I don’t think it matters who you call other than relationship points? Pretty sure it’s partly because Skylar is too noticeable/famous compared to mc and santana.

Kinda wish we could be a cold bastard when we meet the MC’s mother. Look at her like she’s nothing more than a resource and lead her on by saying we’ll try to reconnect, only so we can have her in our pocket for manipulation later down the line.

I would have been more down with that if it wasn’t clear based on talking to her that her decision to leave us has really effected her and might even be the cause of her lagging career

100% she is already dead to my MC. Would love to use her as bait or something. I see no downsides in that. If she died it would mean less than if a random stranger were to die instead. Ugh she gets me angry. So selfish and disgusting and her reasonings or motivations for her behavior is so lame and lackluster. Imma stop cause I can just go on and on about that thing that could be considered mc’s egg donor.

i agree about her motivations and behavior but at the same time i feel it’s a kind of poetic justice to it in that she gave up a happy home life to rise as a big star only to find that she never rose to the heights she wanted and that whole time she has been left empty of the kind happiness she thought she would have sure she has/had adoring fans legions of them and all but they don’t give two shits about her really and the more parasocial ones are far more dangerous than anything else.
as a child of adoption who has met both of my bilogical parents who are not together, and am happy having met them and found out a lot more about myself. I personally feel that while i can never forgive the MC’s mom for her past i am wiling to give her a second chance at building some form of a relationship while it will never be the ideal mother-child relationship(too much bad blood stemming from her abandonment and MC’s father’s death), if we can at least get it to Christmas card level then that’s good enough
but hey maybe thats just me being more willing to try and build something

My only quibble at the moment is that the romance between Jackal and Luka gets way too much attention. I mean, the dude starts ogling his boyfriend during the interrogation scene (or he did when I last read it). There’s a time and a place, Luka.

Never know about certain people. Some may flirt even dying on hospital beds. If unaware, that has accured. So an assassin and a murderer could flirt in an interrogation. I must of missed it as I left the room. Also its been awhile since I read it.
