Lol why?
Well I am not really looking forward into the front line aka fighter corps I like something like Intelligence corps or Medic corps, I mean in the story MC try to lay low and try not to stood up too much wouldn’t it fit if they become Medic or Spy rather than frontliner? I choose medic because it’s rare to be a support role in the game like this, normally MC is the one that fill primary role like general or front line combatant tearing through the ranks of the enemies.
As for interrogation My MC is not the sadistic type I would try to make concession and deals rather than straight out torturing people, the type that seek win win solution or win some lose some in a trade.
I was surprised that the highest voted was fighter corps, I understand it probably will be the most power fantasy path among all path, like fighting enemy most powerful combatants being hailed as hero, maybe blow up enemies with single spell, it just I am trying to roleplay according to the story.

Im not really all that surprized that it has the most votes so far since in the way of story closest to what the core is i think. That entity posing as the god figure wants us to be strong and to rely on its power to get stronger for what ever its reasons might be.
Not to mention lol it takes closer to one of the inspirations for the game that the author has stated. As well probaly the most thought of to be action packed where for the other three they in of themselves might not be thought of as. Though i think they wont be any less dangerous myself just depends on how the authors story unfolds.
I had picked the medic vote myself since im most curious to see that path though i know i will play them all at some point.

Well yes eventually would play all route, but interest in each route do vary. I guess will just have to wait.

Loool yeah I actually expected these results, people want to fight. I was pretty excited about writing the interrogation one but it’s the least chosen so…oh well

Naw since you mentioned it, MC is 9th rank in the academy because MC doesn’t want to stand out, so no 9th place in academy is fixed and cannot be changed.

Yes, if MC doesn’t hid their power or at least tone down a little, there is pretty good chance they’ll end up in a lab getting dissected as test subject, instead of being 9th in the military academy living decent life.
There is hint all over the story about the Empire morality, it is questionable at best at worse there is no ethics.
A highly militarized nation, own tons of advanced weapon (relic in the royal treasury), massive armed mobilization, public speech about war, if player do immersed themselves in the story probably will feel connection to a certain place in 1936 before it wages war around the world
I constantly get the feeling we’re the baddies here, not because MC is bad but because the Empire is bad news.

I finally remember why I don’t remember this one.
I kept disconnecting, tossed out of story by me talking to ‘me’ in such a weird way. I had to stop.
Its very jarring.
I will continue past graduation point this time. That’s where I dropped out before. Too jarring. It’s me and not me but me, no its you, no its I. Ah!
It breaks my dive completely!
I will continue. But really hate ‘self-narration’ part it is world breaking.

there are a lot of grammatical errors in the demo, enough that it’d take a long ass time to point each and every one out. that said, it should be quite easily fettled and exponentially so, granted enough readers point them out. i really like this wip and i will be patiently waiting for maria’s route. Deus lo Vult!!

I getting this vibe of Tanya the Evil but somewhat I can read this and swordland just playing in my mind.
I would pick Medical corps seems important but not too stand out.
Overall I think this is good story but lack worldbuilding like how things outside Empire?
Yeah the authors inspiration cane from saga of tanya the evil.
As to the world building issue you have for me im not to worried about it we get some information all ready and its been stated we will start to learn more as we progress deeper into the story.
