That’s fair, and I agree with you to an extent, that’s why Samantha is the RO that was getting their gender changed. Every other RO works best or only works with their specific gender in mind, while Samantha, if her gender had changed, would have gotten her story taken in a different direction.
So it wasn’t something that I just decided randomly, I had to put some thought into it and then decided who is going to get changed.
Not that it matters now tho.

Is the kid being bullied the only male RO? I can’t even tell if that’s who it is but if I’m reading it right, all RO’s are female except the boy being bullied?
There is one other male RO, but he isn’t in the story currently. I was planning on changing Samantha to be male to open up more options for female and gay players, but thats up in the air currently.

As it turns out, I had mixed up the greater than and less than signs. The mistake has been corrected folks. I will see myself off stage now.
Uh, I forgot to include some of the new content in the public release of the demo, so expect a quick patch either tomorrow or I will probably update it all when I finish act 2.
Speaking of something I forgot. Basically, Sub ROs like Ashford have side content to themselves but don’t really appear in the main story that much and don’t affect the plot. So I was making them just be content that you can just choose to do, and you don’t have to balance their relationship stat.
Another thing that slipped my mind or maybe I did ask, but would anyone here like to be a beta tester for this?

This is a short but important announcement for things going forward, I decided to make Samantha, a guy after thinking it over and getting your guys thoughts on it.
Overall, I get why you guys prefer them to be a woman, as I wrote them as a woman because of my love for muscle women and I wanted to do a little love triangle between her, Rachael and the player character that eventually leads to a trouple. (it isn’t a true love triangle as both characters mainly loved the player, but it gets the message across.)
But at the same time, I am writing this if for my own enjoyment and as a hobby project, but I am also writing for other people to find enjoyment out of it too. And so that means evaluating things and deciding if I will still have fun writing something and also add a little more enjoyment to the different demographics of the people who read my work.
So after again, going over it in my head and what I have in story for them with their storyline. It makes their story a lot more tragic to be a male and adds a little depth to it, and best of all I still have fun with it.
If you are main concern of the trouple thing between them and Rachael, then you got bigger fish to fry. It will still be happening because I really like that idea, but it will be a MMF(/MFF) ship instead of an MFF(/FFF) ship.
The gender rewrite will be included with the full act 2 update, so if Samantha is the only reason you are playing then goodbye and have fun while it lasts.
TLDR: Samantha is Sam now, I am a yapper and a fraud.

I am so sorry. I’m only seeing this message now. I guess the best thing to do would be to announce it before the scene start. just simply putting flashback would work. or if you want to get fancy with it, maybe something happens that triggers the memory because it happens before in the memory. and again, sorry for not replying earlier, but I tend to check my notifications randomly.
