I’m focusing on swordsmanship, and request the blacksmith to carve a toy that richard gave you to your sword will make him distracted too

Man You can’t do this me i was so hooked. Especially love the Clara scenes.

After the scene where you sabotage Richard’s provisions his opinion reduces by 15 points, but so does Alvena’s despite obviously approving of it.
Shouldn’t it be Isabelle who’s opinion drops?

You can, but I believe it has different stats regarding two things.

  1. Your relationship with Richard.

  2. What’s engraved on your sword.

This is completely rethorical but from what I have seen there is 3 different possible states Richard can be, Easy (>40), Medium (>45) and Hard (>50).

If your relationship is good and the wooden toy is engraved then you should be getting 40 check so if your swordsmanship is higher than that you win, if only one conditional is met then it should be 45.

If you are more of a rival to him then you would receive the hard check where you need to be higher than 50 swordsmanship.

The added dept to family characters has been really nice, in the old version the mother was much closer to MC so it made more sense to side with her even when questionable but on this since a baby MC knows Richard and gets to know him as a brother, earlier on MC can pick up on her trying to erase that bond questioning her and in return actually know who she is more, and I loved every second of it :pinched_fingers: The king also is humanized more so his relationships with the siblings and MC evolving was interesting, for the better or worst of it lol

Still, that challenging your younger sibling bc of your need to be accepted by the people, the king and his mother was really not Richard’s brightest moment. More acceptable than on the old version the rift being mainly jealousy because Clara naturally likes MC more but still, wish we got a chance to scold him afterward lol
This might be nitpicking but after coming back from Marania the events felt a bit rushed over the deteriorating health of the king, for example him collapsing before having a talk with MC and Sir Arnold (aka best dad, as always <3) telling MC he wished to talk with them but not getting this final talk before he passes, maybe it’ll be added later to account his change of view of MC?

I bought the book when it came out and really enjoyed it but the DEPTH in this demo made it whole new game. Looking forward to following the demo and buying the new version!

I think the guy Freya meet is a pirate on redemption path, she’s certainly not going to be pirating anytime soon since she’s in house arrest in my old story, either way I am not going to repeat old story of Father killing Uncle because not approving his choice of mate.

It is what started this mess in the first place.

Not wanting Freya to live life of piracy?

My solution is simple but it is not covered in the story yet, since last story end up abruptly, as a king we can always established new branch of force why not call for an amnesty for pirate and then build navy on that basis, while it maybe not going to convince many at least it will convince some to abandon life of piracy in turn we get somewhat competent sailor to start, with that Rhivenia finally have a navy, maybe unpopular decision but that’s not the first time my MC made unpopular decision.

There is one thing I would like to avoid. In the old story I hated the interaction we had with Lena, she just walked all over us. So for this rewrite I hope we don’t end up in that situation again, also I finally don’t have to defend Richard. Bro is far better character here.

Glad to see that, despite liking the game, the ending did feel unsatisfying, can’t wait to see how you improve it!

That’s another sin of parent fell down to children beside this whole war that MC must deal with, she’s hateful, bossy and looking down on MC because certain things Father do in the past and being fatherless could do that to someone.

However in old story MC could make witty rebuttal when facing her snarky remark.

She’s especially frustrated and irritated when MC actually like Xavier and Xavier actually support MC, she will be flustered and seemingly can’t do anything about it.

Poor Richard, in the end he will be left without a throne and without his beloved Clara.

And one question, what was the maximum percentage of relationship with Chaver that you managed to achieve? I helped him and it still didn’t go beyond 50%.

Maybe if I help him his sister will hate me less when she meets us. Or it doesn’t make a difference.

So his mother is wronged by MC’s mother and MC ntr him as well, that’s just sad.

I am playing FMC so clara is not my target, friend sure.

Being friendly toward Richard have benefit although it will be reaped later during the crisis, he actually have huge fans/supporter and having support of those fan support is helpful in stabilizing MC’s rule, MC is not the popular choice among their sibling being the younger and inexperienced and all or so people said, the Kingdom is divided in faction supporting different heir like Richard and even Freya have bigger fanbase than MC.

My only request is this:

I kept quiet about the brother killing my father and the princess being behind the poisoning. When I played the demo for part 2, it seemed like I didn’t have a cover story and everyone was going to find out no matter what. It was immensely frustrating. The MC wouldn’t be seen as floundering in that moment. If the truth is inconvenient, then a plausible lie that focuses allies and subjects in the right direction is good enough to start.

What I would really love to see:

  • tell the queen’s brother (blanking on his name) that if he really wants to atone to the MC, he can keep his f’ing mouth shut. If he could keep silent to do the thing in the first place, he can keep quiet now when doing so would actually do some good.
  • blame the poisoning on the young queen who broke the alliance (again, blanking on name). Use her as a scapegoat for everything. If you had her brother as a prisoner and he escapes, that can be used as further proof of a conspiracy.

Not gonna lie that’s both fucked up and genius. I wish you a good day, my good man .

In the poisoning event I am forced to be cruel and shut down/misdirect any attempt to find the culprit to hide that fact it’s the princess that did that.

People want answers though but letting princess get the axe probably would just bring another problem later like international incident or something,

I am hoping princess will give some revelation on how to defeat the incoming invasion in my old play I manage to convince her that I am not that bad as my Father.

That’s nice misdirection but to do that then I need to sacrifice Xavier and burn my only reinforcement since Lena is part of my army, Richard is happy with my MC, Freya even though she is on house arrest still with my MC, the only loose end is Atheris I gave her chancellor position but not sure if she is 100% behind my MC from what the story told that she is content with that but still I am not 100% sure since Atheris is ambitious sort.

I am definitely trying my hardest to not let people at each other throat.
