I will let Atheris have the throne while I enjoy the privileges and freedom as I help her with the political stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate Richard but I think he isn’t a good candidate for the job (let him focus on Clara).
I just hope my sister doesn’t want me dead at some point in the future due to my MC’s love interest (falling in love with Astryn, for example) or some political issues (helping Xavier, for example). Because I will take revenge against anyone who tries to betray me in the first place… I just sounded like our father, didn’t I?
P.S. When I helped Xavier, he hold my hand in a weird way. I just freak out and I didn’t know how to react… I mean, I didn’t select any romantic option in the game I just want him to be treated like a human being. SO, did anyone feel like me??

I WILL be king, I WILL marry Revna, and Atheris WILL be my closest advisor and confidant.
Richard will be fine as long as he doesn’t try anything and does not get murderously jealous because I was nice to Clara a few times it’s kind of crazy I have my entire ideal playthrough planned out, not usually my thing.

Honestly i think that at most she will just lock you up in your room to make sure you don’t free Astryn because you are not supposed to fall in love with the person that wants to kill you
Poor Xavier got Stockholm Syndrome Lmao, and tbh you ARE the only person treating him as a Human being, there is nothing prohibiting HIM to falling in love with you even if you are not interested

Would be nice for an MC who didn’t want the throne but got pick anyway to have the option to step down and give it to Atheris and Richard.
Or giving it up to our cousin instead.

Me. I like when MC is royal, but the idea of dealing with rebellious siblings, disgruntled Rhivenians, and an impending war isn’t very appealing. Besides, my MC has too much hedonistic approach to life to want that responsibility xd

I thought saying you didn’t want the throne when prompted made the Sword not choose you by default?

The MC can still be chosen by the sword if they pick the correct options daring the game even if we said we don’t want the throne.
In fact:
An MC who didn’t want the throne but got pick anyway have the option to tell Atheris or Richard that the sword should have chosen them instead which will surprise them
Or they can said how shocks there are for been pick by the sword.

This! So much this! I like to feel like not the main character. Just a little and naive angel who always tries her best to be kind to everyone but is afraid of too many responsibilties. My favorite story of all Hosted Games.

My first MC, Ceanna, didn’t want the throne, but still got picked anyway. Poor girl, but she has a good relationship with both Richard and Atheris, so I think she’ll be okay.
I’ll make an MC like this at some point as I plan to have several. Just the only one fleshed out so far is my first one. (Might use this type of character to go after the imfamous pirate RO we havnt met…
)

I’m planning two routes at the moment. One of them will my MC ruling and the other has no plans to rule instead. It’s an interesting path to experience for sure.

I play my main character which is the one I described in an earlier comment and the other one is a cruel bastard who wants to kill his enemies. Its a lot of of fun with the routes of being King/Queen or Prince/Princess. This is such a great game I am beyond hyped for the official release and book two (already played the full game on Patreon). I will keep supporting the author!

All Freya’s decisions were basically mine.
Tbh I felt really conflicted about both the father and mother. The king despite being a horrible father as in barely giving time for his children, was shown to have a little bit of heart from all that stone and paranoia. The mother… although she doesn’t seem like a bad person, what she did is heinous. It was already done, no going back after that. But I couldn’t bring myself to be rude to her, she was very caring.
I didn’t want the throne, so it went to Richard in the end which is okay, he was a good fit I think. Atheris was the protective sibling and Freya was the sweetest.
The romance was poly Xavier and Jarean.
For Xavier I decided to free him from day one. He’s just been through too much by the end of the story.
Jarean was really likable and cute.
I didn’t have the option to romance Daemir by the end. Idk if it could’ve gone differently. I had the relationship at 59. I also feel he’ a bit similar to the father in his decision-making.
