Want to know the big difference between Richard and Freya. While Richard has the ability to hurt you, if you treat the guy like an actual human being and brother he won’t turn against you. If you romance Clara he will be upset for bit but will eventually focus on the bigger picture unless you hurt her. If you don’t make him warden he still stands by you. Now if you do all of that and treat dude like shit, the author has already confirmed that there will be a chance to repair the relationship. This goes to show that for Richard to to screw you over the player has to go down that route directly. Freya on the other hand, no matter what you do she screws you over. No matter how well you treat her in book one, I treated her better than the MC’s mother in book one, she might still turn around and emotionally manipulate the MC. She does that by saying that she will no longer see us as brother if we tell anyone about the pirate. Grant that’s subjective to choice. In book 2 regardless of how well you treat her she still runs away and puts you in danger. I am sorry but Freya is by far the worst member of the family. Like I said the least she could have done is stayed until after the war. Then I personally wouldn’t give a damn who she wants to run off with. But no, her running away shows that she doesn’t believe in the MC as well. Its not stated but its certainly implied.
I wonder how are we going to explain to Lord Aaron if we and up execute or banish Freya and does can not have him married to her.
Will he agree to married Atheris instead? or maybe there’s a another way to form an alliance with him?
I wonder why can’t we just have Freya married both Aaron and the pirate.
Or just make him a prisoner like what happened to Prince Xavier and/or Princess Astryn.
Not gonna defend Freya, but I’m glad you guys weren’t judging my romantic decisions when I was 19.
Freya is an royal, no matter how much she dislikes it, and as thus, she holds the burden of not making the king’s job a fucking nightmare solely so she can have her stupid bad boy fantasy.
If she tries to fuck over our entire kingdom, risking the lives not only of our entire family but of our very people all so she can have a romance, then she’s getting dumped into a bus and sent to a nice farm upstate run by uncle francis, and anyone who tries to say that’s “evil” can go eat my boots
She doesn’t look guity enough for me.In prison,She still sarcasm our mother about killing Isabella’s Child. It’s repersent that She doesn’t feel guilty enough. It’s mean she can continue to screws over us more in future

It’s actually quite interesting that it seems that all of your siblings refuse the possibility of an arranged marriage for themselves and only the MC can actually be mature enough to tighten the belt and say “Welp I understand my own potential happiness will always be ranked below that of the kingdom that raised me and I was literally born to help protect.” Then if you do make the choice to enter an arranged marriage (that is fairly forced upon you in all reality) the only person who really commends you for making the choice is your mother. But if you follow the example of your siblings your suddenly the worst noble to ever noble. Fairly amusing.
I agree
Especially if a ruler MC or a ruler Atheris force Richard to be on arranged marriage first and he will call out both ruler Atheris and ruler MC if we refuse the marriage offer from Queen Lena despise the fact that we have a good reason not to accept this like Queen Lena using this marriage against us.
Hard to believe our mother because she love us so much.she always praise us for whatever we done haha
How do we side with King Erwan?
By putting him into our family’s tomb, next to his father.
Book 2 demo is out???
It will be out next month
More than likely Prince Francis didn’t get any kind of “entombment with honours” at least it would be hard to imagine Charles gave him one.
He could just be on a simple commoner cemetery like you know he choosed Albreda over his allegiance with Charles so that could the spiteful end Charles planned, with the commons.
Agree, but who knows.
I mean, Francis is still a part of bloodline, so I don’t think that he lies in one grave with commoners, but yeah, totally without honor entombment for him. If I were in Carl’s position, I would put Francis in the family grave just for: a) be 100% sure that Francis is dead; b) make everyone else 100% sure that Francis is dead.
Wasn’t Charles himself cremated? “A leader dies in red, so another can rise in blue.” But maybe that’s only for some members of royalty.
Good idea. That way he won’t be a waste of space anymore
@Kshatriya Well, at least we can have ash. So instead of putting Erwan in a grave, we can put him in an urn.
Damn, that’s rough. I like it
I wonder if we’ll ever meet someone who isn’t completely moronic. The main character gets no respect, no respect at all.
I don’t know about the demo, but I would hope Lena is less stupid. What I’ve read about her seems to indicate she’s an actually smart girl instead of being overtly emotional like (a lot of characters) or completely neutral and unopinionated like clara
I do think Lena is quite competent and understands the role a monarch actually should play in the grand scheme of running a kingdom, as she easily realizes that giving up her current power allows her to gain a greater amount later on (Marrying the ruler and giving up her own kingdom). Plus when you do meet with her she openly taunts the delegation, which I think is a test to see if the leader is temperamental enough to take offense instead of acting mature enough to just roll with the insults and pay no mind to them.
Yeah, but Richard was supposed to be some sort of Prince Charming and yet all he does is whine, whine and whine some more. Charles was said to be cruel but he was really just an normal king and a bad dad, which wasnt even completely his fault given how apparently he isn’t even allowed to train his children because it would be unfair.
Lena looks reasonable in book 1, but for all I know she’s gonna turn into a naggy backstabber that disapproves of everything you do in book 2, given the constant tendency of everyone to treat the MC like some sort of milk-drinking loser.
Except Richard. Being a bad parent in completely Charles fault, no one else. Damn, since he prioritized Richard, he could at least properly educate him. And who is can stop him, a King, to train his own children?
First, I think it’s worth a spoiler blur. Second, oh my god, if it’s true, what is wrong with people in SoR universe?
