She is both a RO and a political marriage,love can blossom between she and the MC or you can always hate each other.
If you do not get along with her imagine Clara if you go for the poly route as your “Marriage for love” and just do like King Charles loving one hating the other.

It seems that here if what Machiavelli teaches us is applied that being a good ruler has nothing to do with being a good or bad person
Nothing is impossible that and I doubt that also happens when we have children. I doubt that being King we will have the ease of being parents because like our father we are already the father or mother of a nation.

From what I remember doing: I didn’t promise to free Xavier, but I made sure he got treated well as a prisoner, talked to him whenever I could, and sided with him when everyone suspected him of poisoning the king. Still, I’m not sure if Lena is happy about her brother still being in our custody.
Edit: oh now that reminds me, I was legit shocked when Xavier finally took the chance to run away when everyone in the castle got poisoned… only for him to come back to me. Dude probably has Stockholm syndrome lmao.

Yeah, I was super surprised when the game said he returned. Or well, it didn’t say he returned. It seemed like the game just forgot that he had ran away? X runs away! MC literally doesn’t give it any amount of attention at all. X is back there, in the background. MC still doesn’t give a fig lol

It would seem Obsession runs in Richards bloodline…from what I’ve seen so far.
I mean Matteo is obsessed with our mother,Isabella has too a Obsession with our mother and Revenge it would seem and Richard has it over Clara.There will probably be a lot of Drama later on

Hmm that one might be a continuity issue then. In my playthrough I got a brief scene where he told me he ran away but came back when he realised he has feelings for my MC. I think the scene only appears if he is romanced.

Hello mate, I purchased and played the game twice now one where the sword chose my charcter and one where it did not and I loved the game however I feel like some things aren’t as fleshed outas they could be, we hear alot about war but don’t fight once so whats the point of the sword, archery and combat skills then? the theif girl is given a litte hype with that friend of hers and a name but nothing really happens with that apart from one conversation, bit disapponting of an ending.
That said I love the relationships the MC can have with his/her mother and siblings

Loved it! I kinda like Isabelle now 
she’s a victim too. I remember hating the Queen in the prior version of the game but now I just kinda hate MC’s mom. And Lena, fuck her too. I do feel that we were kind of a push around the whole game? We kicked ass in the other version, in this one it’s one fuck up after the other, I felt like there was no winning choice.
Also, Team Revna all the way.
My first route (not ruler MC). Atheris was chosen… I’m a bit disappointed because I was hoping to see how Richy deal with rebels xD Do the Rhivenians have different attitude towards him than towards ruler MC (I heard the citizens hate us)? After all, Richard has always been their favorite…
To be fair to Lena, Charles did murder her father and allow the torture of her brother. I’d be itching for vengeance after that, too.
She’s a victim, but I don’t like her nor trust her. Putting the MC aside, she’s isolated Richard from his entire family and uses him like a pawn, even if she loves him. Her being a victim doesn’t give her the excuse to make victims out of others, especially her own son.

Same here, finally I understand Isabelle a little bit, and the MC father too.
Also I love the plot with the letter about Francis.
I also had the bug about Xavier leaving, before finally be in the castle again.
I’m just disappointed by the fact there is no save system, I hope there will be one in the future.

Nah… I think that’s a bug. I played a Run where MC didn’t romance anyone, and enggaged politically to Lena.
Even though the game told me he escaped, for some reason he is back at the end when Lena arrived, and they smile to each to other lmao.
I was like… “I thought you escaped, man.”

The masses seems to be dissappointed at the end, because he wasn’t as capable as people though. Freeing Astryn, rejecting Lena’s political marriage etc.

Honestly no surprise in that lol
I rest my case that between him and Atheris, she’s still a better ruler. A bit harsh around the edges, but she’s still the lesser evil.
Boring but reliable. Better Atheris having the guts to make the harsh decisions than Richard making us lose the war because he wants to be the “good guy” that everyone likes
