Oooh I like that, but there are already 6 ROs tho, the author might get exhausted by the work creating and fleshing out the romance for that character, maybe the Golden Prince/Princess like, hates you at the start because of all the things the people and the priests/priestesses say about Death but starts to like him/her when he/she discovers that your Death is actually a kind, benevolent God/Goddess and was actually betrayed by the other Gods and Goddesses?
Also if a god dies, what happens to the dominion they were responsible for. Does it just not have a god anymore, does the god be reborn, does a mortal ascend to a god, or does nature create a new god of that dominion?
Iāve rarely been so excited about a WIP
canāt wait to read more, I think the potential is huge
(Yes, that was all I had to say )
@kairu @No_This_Is_Patrick @Custodes Iām seriously contemplating the idea of turning Sol into a gender selectable ROs, iāll probably have made a decision by the time the next update is out!
@fingerplayer Death will not be kind by default, you will be able to decide how you acted in the past and if your imprisonment changed your behavior! But your assumption of Leon/Leona is right if you choose to kind route.
@Nadelesc When a god dies their essence is scattered, and with time it eventually returns to their dominion, they loose their physical bodies and conscience. A god cannot be reborn or created, as a mortal will always be a mortal.
@Glyck ahha thank you, it means a lot that you guys are loving this story as much as I do.
oh yeah, I meant to add āyourā to that, sorry
During Deathās imprisonment, were there any new deities that came into existence during that time? So they never got to meet Death, only heard the tales and rumors surrounding them.
I too would appreciate Sol being gender-selectable, but itās not a deal-breaker for me by any means. Can you romance him if your past relationship was friends, or only if you were lovers?
Every tidbit you give makes me more thrilled Can you change your appearance too (hairstyle and such), or is it just your personality? And, if itās not a spoiler, is what led to the imprisonment fixed, or is there player choice involved? (Iām going to wait how that goes down before trying to picture how my MC is affected
)
I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite IFs of all time. Romance heavy AND we get to play as a supernatural/non-human? Yes, please!
Found a typo:
Should be ātoo young to know these thingsā.
When say a mortal will be a mortal does that mean we canāt curse or bless someone with immortality? Also Iāve just finished replaying the game and Iām still enjoying and salivating over the next update
@ChaoticWhisp Oh yes definitely. Taiājik, the god of deserts, is a minor god and came into existence right after Deathās imprisonment, he is not the only one though.
@LiliArch If you choose to be friends with him in the past, Solās love towards death will be purely platonic, more like siblings than anything. There will be a chance to change your appearance in the next chapter, that iām very excited about! The main reason as to why the other gods betrayed you is fixed, but if that reason was justified or not will depend on the playerās choices.
@cornerstorecashier Oh my God soo happy you liked it, it makes so happy! And thank you for the typo!!
@ChaosBringerXV Immortality doesnāt equal godhood, thereās a way for mortals to achieve immortality and it will be discussed later in the game. Hahah I promise iām working full time on the next update!!
So can a mortal kill a god even if heās becomes immortal
Wild men catch my eye. I think Wulfric will be the first RO that I will meet.
How is our relation with our siblings in it
There are demigods (sons of gods with humans) in this universe or at least some human who has some power / object gifted by the gods or something like that?
Maybe tell that in his description, in the OP - it would be easy for someone to pick past friendship planning to turn it into romance, and not be able to
@Custodes The only thing that can kill a god is the metal known as UrĆŗdum, that is only found in Quabothās dominion, deep in the volcanoesā entrails. No mortal could ever wield such weapon, but an immortal could.
@Harley_Robin_Evans The MCās relationship with Quabothās is a good one, and I think that wonāt change in course of the story, however deathās relationship with Nemeya is a strained one and after her actions in the MCās imprisonment, probably broken beyond repair.
@KingKaiser_8000 Yep, thereās quite a few demigods, that are the children of gods with mortals, not necessarily humans. And there is powerful mortals who have the gift of magic, the magi, that can be either innate, where they are already born with it, or bestowed on them by a god.
@Konoi Thatās a good idea, iāll add that detail to his description!
Did other gods do anything to keep Deathās brother in check? I mean since he is loyal to Death, shouldnāt he at least try to do something to save Death from imprisonment?
Would a demigod be able to wield a UrĆŗdum forged weapon? Or is there a certain limit to that? Also are do the lifespans of demigods vary depending on factors such as parents and the powers they received? And is there like a veil or mist covering mortalsā perception of the supernatural and gods besides being intangible and such?
⦠does death have any son / daughter who is a demigod?
Will there be any customization options to make Death look monstrous in appearance? For instance, a half skeleton, half flesh body (sort of how Hel, the Goddess of Death in Norse mythology looks like)?
