Text variables with option to view number?

If there is a topic on this already please link me to it…I don’t know proper terms so didn’t see anything that looked right.

I got all my stats to work, and they show the text I desired. Now I want them to show (numb er) of said stat instead of just the text in the stat menu. Not quite sure how to do it.

example : Dribbling Level : Look mom both hands! (2)
or Dribbling Level : Look mom both hands! (2/10)

You just need a variable to hold the number.
In startup, you would do something like…

*create dribbling 0

Then over the course of the game…

*set dribbling +2

So, your example…

Dribbling Level : Look mom both hands! (${dribbling})

Something like this, yes?

*if (dribble < 3)
    *set dribble_text "Look mom both hands! (${dribble})"
