I love these images that you are putting out for this game! You said that you will implement these images in-game eventually to help with the visual representation; does that include different colored version of those forms, including even different physiques? Like for example, my Salamander has black scales with red eyes (I think) and has curved horns. Will these images be updated to reflect options like those? Also, can wait to see what the dragon images will look like for this game!

I can’t promise such variation, since there are 7+ colors, you could imagine how much this would rake up if I included every image of not only each starting species, but their evolutionary paths too 
As for the dragon image let just say its going to be spicy

How many starting species and evolutionary path do you plan on having? I’d advise against making too many.
Because let’s say you have 3 starting species and each has 3 evolutionary paths, it already make 9 evolutionary paths to get keep track of.

That’s a valid concern, and tackling an entire evolution line can indeed be significant work . Currently, my strategy involves creating two distinct evolutionary lines for each starting species (3-4)—one emphasizing the bestial aspects and the other focusing on humanoid traits. There will be alot of variations true, but hopefully i can manage through them smoothly, especially after seeing so much support from this community for this work

Yeah, cause everyone probably wanted to see an IF game like this that makes them feel similar to series like the Slime anime series and Re:Monster. And I’m sure some probably wanted to be a full dragon like me.

Should I apply the same penalties for cheat mode as in normal mode? (For example, the loss of half your biomass from forcibly acquiring the spear would only be relevant in normal mode, but not in cheat mode.)

Oh, wow! Seeing how divisive this poll was, I’m considering adding a secondary option that enables players to toggle on/off the severe penalties they might incur in this game (When they choose the cheat mode). I believe that could be a reasonable compromise.

@Beastup How are the romance scenes going to be like? Are they going to be like, 1. Kissing, Caressing and Nibbling on ears and stuffs but anything more than that is either skipped or fade to black, 2. Same as the first but with more intimate options included but the main stuff will still be either skipped or fade to black or 3. The full experience but with a choice on whether you want the full detail, some details or fade to black?
I can see the first or second options being more likely since considering the type of game this is, it would be challenging (not impossible) and time consuming to write the full experience of it since our MC might either have a really big body, very different body as compared to other characters or very human-like body but with some extra bits and stuffs that most species probably might not have normally. Regarding those stuffs, you would probably have to look at games like Trials in Tainted Space or Corruption of Champions 2 to make sure you do those scenes right for the different body types the MCs might have.

At this early stage of development, all i can say the inclusion of detailed intimate scenes will depend on my ability to effectively implement them, taking into account the various physical variations that will be present in the story. However, I’m not entirely opposed to writing intimate scenes if they contribute meaningfully to the storyline, so will see whats the future hold.
On another note, the voting for the next starting species has ended, and i didn’t expect such a result.

I never went to your Patreon account since I’m not a member. What species were in the poll other than Spider seeing as you just said that they won. Not surprised and not a bad choice since I’m sure you’re planning on adding an Drider form in the game.

I’m surprised no one voted for canine. I thought more or at least some people would’ve wanted to be a werewolf or wolf beastmen or even a giant wolf like Fenrir if they wanted to.
