The more the time pass, the more my hatred for the G#leri increase and I can’t believe it was possible.
On this front I can almost empathize with Julia. Almost.

I remember you saying we weren’t ready for this chapter. Now I think you were understating it.

A part of me understands why you-know-who have done what they did, and can emphatize with them. But there is this other part of me that is so ready to whoop their asses.

Small thing but this should be set to true

*label takebowl
You take the bowl in hand and take in a mouthful of pork porridge. The food is not nearly as flavorful as you are accustomed to, after a decade of living off the sumptuous meals of the imperial palace, but
*if veteran = false
it brings you back to your simpler days in the field. You were only one ${person} among many, burdened with the battle ahead, not the weight of an Empire. The taste evokes in your memory harsh suns, bloodied sand and the stench of sweat, memories fond and frightening.

I chose to support the aux against the legion, and when touring the forces in Gruthungia, I spoke with the foederati in their language, so I expected my rep with them to be much higher. The Subterfuge 2 was from the last level-up, just a misclick. It was at 1 the entire playthrough, with the rest fairly even.

We ever going to be able to convince ruthless Augusta to maybe dial down her edgeLord stat? I want her to be ruthless and pragmatic, not murderously psychotic

She’s trying to outdo Julia in one direction or the other depending on the MC’s counsel. I think it is reasonable for a young noblewoman convinced of her right to rule to lack moderation.

Still makes my Prefect want to smash his head into a wall, do thought he raised his daughter to be smarter than this

On Augusta, her personality is set now, but her actions are not. Depending on how much she trusts the MC and how willful she has become, she will be able to be persuaded to make different decisions. A Paragon may be persuaded to harsher measures, and a Tyrant to fairer ones…possibly. The MC won’t be able to change her mind on everything, but she has the potential to be more open minded than, say Julia is.

Of course, she is not guaranteed to take your advice unless she’s a Puppet.

@cascat07 is also correct that she’s acting out of reaction to her mother in one way or another. As a 13 year old who has just experienced a traumatic family death (potentially two) Augusta is trying to find her way forward. As the new ruler of Iudia and you her advisor, we will see how she can potentially develop.

I mean, if your idea of smart is “has the same views as me and agrees with daddy on everything” then you should’ve just made yourself a little puppet. /s
