Shattered Eagle: Fall of an Empire (WIP) [509k Words | Interlude Update 06/19/2025]

You only need to go on the mission (in addition to the other two possible factors of three), the outcome of it (Tristitia alive or dead) doesn’t affect her disposition here.

Both images you mention were taken yesterday. I can confirm that the “federal” typo is no longer there, but to validate the other one I’d have to try a run from scratch. I’ll check myself, but if nobody else is getting it, it’s probably also fixed.

I think I found a bug, at chapter 4 if you choose to speak with ceto and you have good relation you are supposed to gain stability and mob favor but my relation is 100 and I gained nothing by talking to her

also later at the council meeting of chapter 6 the MC give advice to lucita except that she is not in the room because she has been burned

Also I don’t know if it’s a bug but Puppet Augusta is ALWAYS captured and throw into a fire even if my stats at the end tell me I was quick

Fixed the first three, and the reason for the last is I think that there were too few Arcanii to win the battle at the Palace, so I adjusted Arcanii losses down so it’s possible to win there after fighting successfully at the spire and other areas, with ally aid (and warfare if you lead it).

She isn’t, I believe the problem was after fighting in the spire, castra, watch successfully there weren’t enough Arcanii left to win. If it persists I’ll get into it but the *goto statements after success at the palace all lead to augusta safe and sound, so that’s what I assumed.

However, even if you lose at the palace or don’t get there in time, Augusta can save herself if she’s Paragon/Tyrant with >= 25 STR and Combat training. You get a unique bit of a scene then and later on with what consequences result in that.

Why do i feel like the Julia at last is just… Hologram shit like the grass in the “goddess” Axis mundi?

If that turns out to be true, I am joining Team Typhon.

Yeah how do we do this

Here, I’ll demonstrate how:

SPOILERS

You need at least 5 Points of Knowledge in order to get the Goddess to speak to you more on this:

One point can be gained by examining the spire in Chapter II, another point in that same scene when you try to recall knowledge of the past denizens of Kyro (Scholarship IV)

You can gain two points by visiting Darius in Chapter III and learning the Old Tongue from him (Scholarship V). This does not require you to visit him later on/cement his alliance in Chapter IV.

You can gain one point by being trained in sorcery OR you can gain two if you cement Darius’ alliance in Chapter IV, regardless of sorcery.

You can gain another point by examining the tunnels under Kyro if you go on the mission to kill Tristitia in Chapter IV.

You can gain two more if you read Darius’ letter in Chapter V and examine the information about the past.

So it’s possible to succeed without allying with Darius, but only with high Scholarship and meeting with him in Chapter III. It’s also possible to succeed without any scholarship but this requires allying with Darius in Chapter IV.

However, you’ll still be able to learn much of this without seeing Darius at all, but you’ll need high Scholarship.

So basically

Summary

If you tell Darius to effectively fuck off in the beginning you can’t figure out her lie? You’re locked out of it?

At this juncture. The Prefect will gain the chance to learn more as time goes on and new revelations occur, though Scholarship will be the key skill to piece it together and make further deductions.

Hello @Azan
I fuly played it. Wow thats a great chapter. I feel utterly happy and shocked. I love everythink. And chapter’s end((supoiller))(Julia’s return is highly unexpected and I found unique).
Now first should I share hidden stats are you any need?
Second are you planing relavence for being Hadatian because I don’t see any special thinks except being unpopular?
Thirth this maybe unpopular I love Agusta but I all so found Victoria is right to seek justice Aite and İnvidia are deserved to die but not Victoria and Tristitia and I saved Tristitia of course. can we join Victoria if we can how?

Hadati characters gain a boost to compromise with the rival faction, and with regard to Victoria/Iblin there will be some unique interactions down the line potentially, but remember that this is only ancestry, a provincial/client origin family left that region many years before their birth.

The Prefect isn’t Ezperian/Hevernican/Hadati/Attikan/Midyanite/Seyetan, they’re a Iudian with ancestry which they bear in their surname and potentially appearance. It’s like an American saying “I’m Irish” when their family left in the 19th century.

Well, Victoria may not be so willing to accept the Prefect into her ranks, given their role in her family’s demise. If they killed her mother, far less so. Yet, a settlement may be possible depending on your choices, and if so, Victoria could make significant demands in return for her assent to an Empress/First Citizen Augusta.

Hello @Azan
Thanks for answering. So Victoria stuation is very unique. Aite steel deservet to die. Julia is a trand we should accep that. But our daughter is a paragon and indipendent. And I really hate corrupt Senate. Foidarty and Darius are perfect.
