Great update! Did not expect to get so emotionally invested in Leland, I’ll admit for a moment I thought it was going to be something more akin to cancer than rehab so I’m glad that going away wasn’t as permanent as I’d been imagining! Curious as to if he’ll reappear? Completely understand if that’s spoilers though!
Just a really fun update and the concept is still really cool, even though you can’t do much during them the interview segments are really engaging and the interviewer is a very fun character. 10/10 for giving us the option to have had dog therapy during our stay.
I love the band so much choosing who (if any) to romance will be wild, been balancing my indecision with giving as many people crushes on the MC as possible!

YOooo I’m so glad you enjoyed catching up with Leland! And it’s kind of spoilery buuuut. Well. You just know he’s gonna reappear bc if he didn’t, I’d just say “no”. So yeah, he will. He’s got an important role in the story, actually, if you choose to connect with him.
I’m glad the interview segment are exciting! I know they’re kind of “rigid”, but I truly love writing them!! And yeah, dog therapy is best. Which dog was your fav? We have Tulip, Benno and Harvey 
Ohh romance is really gonna be… interesting. Both to write and to read (I hope). Also, if you can’t decide, a poly is very much in the plans. Just turn the band into a cuddle pile

so finaly did found time to read the update , is great i like it and that with zima gives a nice touch to the story , kinda intrestesd how it goes further now.
i like the dark part of the clinic in my eyes it could be a bit darker but than i think you would need to put 18+ on it^^
and that with robin i did laugh pretty hard when our mc wasent even really paying attition to talk and was more fighting to remeber the name from robin

This has been going on for two months now, and it probably should be exhausting— while I don’t work at the restaurant on Sundays, Thursday through Saturday, I have to leave my shift at Tomcat’s on time to go home, get cleaned up, do some quick vocal warmups and change into a fresh outfit.
This shows up, even though I chose the telemarketing job.

I absolutely love this story. Not just the way it’s written with the interviews spliced between flashbacks, which is amazing, but because it’s the first time I’ve ever truly related so completely to a character before.
not really relevant but on a personal note
I was hospitalised at 15 for both of the reasons MC can choose from. And it was music that was my distraction from life too. I don’t find it hard or painful to read something like this, quite the opposite, it’s cathartic in a way because it’s not usually something you can talk about with anyone but it does need to be dealt with. Unfortunately I didn’t have MC’s singing skills, just a guitar and undiagnosed autism, so no band for me. But I’m in my 30’s now with a beautiful son and an addiction to tea and interactive fiction, so it’s not so bad on the other side, and I have a feeling I’ve fared better than MC.
I love the introduction of Zima and some of their backstory. It adds more layers that I’m intrigued to see more of.
Also, the band. Stevie is so lovable, I love how she steps in front of MC to protect them from Zima. I love all the extra details that make these characters feel real and like there is a history here between everyone, and these wee actions are true to their personality and relationships that were developed before the events of the story we see begins.
Also, Angel. I have to admit that was kinda heartbreaking that he avoided everyone. With how close they all were before it’s building the idea that what happened was big enough for him to have cut all contact for years.
Congratulations on the update, I cannot wait to read more.

Why is it so often emphasized how attractive Winter is 
I’m not interested in them and don’t care how they look like.
I think these fragments should be visible to those who have previously chose options, that say that mc notices their appearance and like it. That would make more sense. Otherwise I feel like the game is trying to encourage me to choose a romance path with them.
