I love stories like this that get into the nitty gritty of things that other stories don’t delve into. Like i’m not saying i like traumatizing people but i like playing in the mindset of someone going through some real ish that i probably never will. For example i’m not an alcoholic but i like when we can play stories with that having consequences on how the story is affected just like real life.

Have to say, as someone who found the Infamous Wip and started playing it, made it to the photo shoot scene, but all these comments about Seven are making me nervous, and wondering if I should go with her route
I don’t think Zima is like Seven. There’s definitely similarities with both being pretty, adored dark haired singers and bitter at the fallout with mc— but Zima feels a lot less… passive? Shy?? Stalkerish??? lol.
I love him so much, but Romanced!Ex!Seven always came across as a sad bratty sub lashing out but still wanting to be the apple of the MC’s eye, whereas Zima is much more aggressive and confident in themselves, and just wants to shine—but unfortunately you’re there. They don’t feel like they need mc’s attention, they’re just pissed off they’re not even an after thought after all their time together.
Idk. I guess to me they feel like their own person, not a carbon copy.

Firstly thanks! And all due respect, but I don’t think this is the kind of game for you, because there’s gonna be a lot more heavier things. I was hoping the intro post would give it away, but this isn’t a super happy game…

Love the update, im fullset going for lin the valley girl, crazy has its charm haha, and stevie throwin shade lol love the drama!
though im confused to Zima, i had chosen them to be female, and the flashback it seemed to contradict their statement, basically the name change and who she was and currently is in the chapter, (both in flashback being a teen girl to being a frontwoman for a band) just was confused how they were trans?
will this be highlighted in future updates?

As for he confusion-part, I’m gonna need some extra info. Zima is (whether you chose them to be male or female) transgender (either female to male or male to female); and when you meet them at Crest Rosales, they don’t have their identity fully figured out yet and instead of Paul/Paulette (which becomes their forever name but they haven’t thought of that yet), they call themselves Remy, which is also a name they chose, but only until they think of a name they’re comfortable using for the rest of their life (Paul/Paulette). Regardless, MC knew them as Remy. This is also stated in the flashback, but perhaps it’s easy to miss. So if that’s what you were confused about, I hope I could clear it up!! Unless pronouns changed in the flashback. That should not happen and would mean I’ve messed up somewhere. Lemme know which it is!

Now, as a fan of Infamous (who enjoys Seven’s route), Zima is definitely not meant to be like Seven in any way. I’m very happy you feel that way too!! When I created the character of Zima, I figured comparisons would arise, simply bc it’s a music IF and Zima and MC can be something like exes, so I guess I knew I’d have to live with that (and my IF being compared to Infamous in general 
tall order, very tall). So what I mean to say is I’m glad you feel the way you do. Your comment certainly hits the nail on the head with Zima. Thanks

in zima’s initial intro, i chose them to be a girl, and in the flashback or mental health thing, they were a young girl, i thought paulette was a sibling until it drew comparisons, but yes after choosing their pronoun in the flashback they were female.

that’s a little reassuring because otherwise I would have run away from this IF screaming and never come back, I hate Seven so much.
Although somehow I’m a afraid to read the new update, lol.
I stayed up way too late to read the update and I am so glad I did. I absolutely love this story and your writing and am looking forward to future updates!
