But, given that he didn’t want to be part of the industry and MC “disappears” for so long I’m going to headcannon that they eventually got together off page and have just been that boring couple nobody notices ever since. Until/less author says different.

I just finished the new chapter and it was very excellent writing. Now I’m headcanoning the band’s sound to have a feel of Nirvana/Soundgarden/Alice in Chains.
Shame that Leland probably won’t show up as he’s best friend material. And the vampire thing that popped up made me laugh for a while.

Yep, particularly now we know we’re fated to lose contact with Angel for years no matter what.
Hope my mc can keep Link at least particularly if we romance him. My poor mc deserves a happy end and I am hoping Link can provide that. Stability and a happy enough end.

I’m iffy on changing this. Especially in the first chapter of meeting Zima, I have to point that out at least once or twice, given 90% of Zima’s later success hinges on their appeal. Them becoming a s*x symbol later on is a pretty huge thing, plot-wise. Besides, it’s just another stark contrast to how they were in 2007.
And the thing is, I constantly describe what the ROs look like… I feel like I spend way too many sentences on Stevie’s fairy princess hair and outfit alone… Even if I didn’t say it in the main narrative, the side characters would still point Zima’s conventional attractiveness out (kinda like they do with MC!)
Anyways, to directly address this… I might tone it down, but it’s still going to come up.

I think I’ve said this before, but his role in the story, though small, is pretty important to me. And I wouldn’t have spend so much time writing his dates and hangouts if he wasn’t at least gonna make a small appearance sometime later in the game

This is sooo good. I actually got into Press Play about two weeks ago and was eagerly waiting for the update, and i can say that it did not disappoint!!
I love MC and all the characters so much! I have to say i’ve really been anticipating Zima’s introduction and what went down with MC, and again, it did not disappoint. I just feel so bad for Zima. I completely understand MC and their reasoning for cutting them off their life, but i can’t lie i really feel for them…
I know someone brought this up on tumblr, but it’s really hard to write this kind of plot point without it feeling like one or the other’s fault, but you’ve done a really good job in making the situation understandable from both sides and making us feel sympathetic for both.
The flashbacks were also super bittersweet but it really made me love MC and Zima more (i knew i’d love them since i’m fan of characters with a past reuniting but that reinforced it), and now i need them back together asap lol
On a side note, i didn’t feel like you overly described Zima or that the narrative was pushing us to find them attractive tbh. I think Lin and Stevie’s attractiveness was described just as much, and again nothing wrong with that imo!
Anyway you’re doign such a good job and i hope you know it. I’m officially obsessed with Press Play <3

But Stevie is a close friend so it seemed somehow… more natural to me that MC is aware that she is pretty (nothing romantic is happening, tho)
You see, I’m a person who doesn’t think much about someone’s appearance and whether they’re attractive or not and when in interactive fiction games RO is often described as beautiful, hot etc, etc…uhhdf, it’s getting annoying, as if the author wanted to say: 'look how amazing they are, you will definitely fall in love!" Sorry 
But okay, I get it. There is a purpose

…and MC. The manager described them like… there is something wrong with them. What word did she use, “unstable”? Is this MC image among fans or will we have any influence on how the public perceives them?
