Again, so it’s not humanly possible, not “very, very difficult”, impossible by design.
If you’re over 150,000 years old, I would like to know.
…which is either going to be abusing glitches or a bot/hacking.

Oh I’m sure the average Touhou expert would.
Glitches are fair game in my book, it’s why I like watching speed runs of games abusing glitches.
The conversation has gone off-topic, so I’d just like to remind people that the subject at hand is the implementation of polyamoury in ChoiceScript games. Anyway, I realised I’d forgotten to reply to @DreamingGames, so I’ll do that now!
That certainly seems logical in terms of frequency! Polyamoury is rare when compared to monogamy, so it makes sense that relationships would be less common the more they lean towards having more than one equal partner in a romantic relationship. Something that often trips people up is learning how to deal with the addition of another partner, especially since wanting to preserve an existing relationship could be seen as a priority over maintaining the new relationship, which is ultimately an unfair point of view. The Relationship Bill of Rights and Fairness in Polyamoury are two more pages on the website I previously linked that I think would be beneficial to read through. The advice applies to dyads too, so I think it’s worth anyone’s time giving it a look.
To help spark the discussion again, I’ll quote some of the questions I asked the first time I posted here. There have been wonderful comments on what people think about existing instances of polyamoury in CS games, so I’ll consider that one concluded.
I can answer these myself, but I’ll delay doing that for a bit. ![]()
Hey guys, anyone has like a current list of the latest Choice of Games & Hosted Games with polyamorous relationship options or basically having multiple romances at the same time?
It’ll be nice to start a list since this thread is merges all other threads with the same question, but I do not have an extensive library of CoG and HG games (I’m still saving up to buy more!
This is only based on the games I have played so far:
The Eagle’s Heir: MC x Alexandr x Eugenie
The Fog Knows Your Name: MC x Addy x Anuja | Ennis x MC x Rex (Ennis and Rex aren’t into each other though, they’re siblings). I am not sure if it might be possible to romance all ROs in one playthrough.
Heroes of Myth: MC x Alvin x Verity
Heart of the House: MC x Dev x Loren
Psy High: You can start romancing multiple ROs without them knowing it but in the end you’ll have to decide.
Stronghold: A Hero’s Fate: MC x Cronos x Kingfisher | MC x Ari x Ebbin
The Superlatives: MC x Jane x Hugh
Tally Ho: MC x Rory x Frankincense (Rory is MC’s gender except if MC is nb, Frank is the opposite of Rory’s gender)
Tin Star: Any combination possible that doesn’t involve Preston. Preston does not share.
Versus: MC x Venuma x Breeze
The Soul Stone War, releasing in spring 2020, features three poly routes. All of the characters can be romanced on their own, but the four known ROs can also be romanced in three poly combinations: MC x Straasa x Morkai, MC x Daelynn x Morkai, and MC x Daelynn x Eledwen.
Currently a WIP, but as far as I’m aware Malin is planning to add a few poly options in Fallen Hero: Retribution (sequel to Fallen Hero: Rebirth). So far, the groundwork for MC x Ortega x Argent has been laid in the alpha version. I think MC x Ortega x Steel will be another option, and there might be more, but nothing is 100 % set in stone until release.
The Wayhaven Chronciles series has a love triangle Adam/Ava x MC x Nate/Nat, though you will have to decide. It’s a triangle, not a poly. You’ll be able to romance both for quite some time though.
Wow thanks so much for sharing your experience, it’s so detailed and going forward if anyone else shares their experiences I will compile it together!
Thanks again! @Sylveranty
Creme de la Creme also has a poly option: Max and Delacroix
Tooting my own horn and IDK if it’s been mentioned, but Moonrise has polyam options! If your character has high enough Empathy and relationship stats with all the ROs, you can date Ishara, Chika, and Rosario, in any combination. The relationships can be smexy or queerplatonic!

Just yesterday The Soul Stone War was released, this game has 3 poly relationships to play, and they are all amazing!
You should totally check it out
I think this thread was last active before the launch of the Heart’s Choice label, so it might be also worth nothing that some games there have poly options (Dawnfall and Jazz Age for sure, I think All-World Pro Wrestling might as well?)
I’ve played Creme de la creme, it has an option with Max and Delacroix.
Also in: The Soul Stone War you have at least 3 options for polyamorous relationships
Ah, dang it. Just read that Westhaven won’t have a poly option in this thread. Totally respect the authors choice, it is their characters after all. But now I am going to have the nightmare of trying to pick, both are just such cool characters eek!
What’s the poly options in scarlet sails?
I believe there are two: Firebird and captain Blood or Firebird and Truman.
Kind of a long shot, but does anyone have an updated list of all CoG/Hosted games with poly routes?
I haven’t played any of these games in months, so I’m out of the loop about what’s out there.
Well you can play Sword of Rhivenia which allows you to marry more than one romance interest
That’s the game that brought me back. Now I’m just after a list I can work though.
I have that, Creme de la Creme, and the Soul Stone War, but beyond that nothing but WIPs on tumblr.
Do you know the blog interact-if on tumblr? They have a lot of rec lists and I think there are some finished CoG/HG being recommended there.
IIRC Dawnfall and Brimstone Manor (both Heart’s Choice) have poly options.
Some other games with poly options are Heart of the House, Strongold - A Hero’s Fate, Pon Para, Relics of the Lost Age, Tally Ho, The Magician’s Workshop.
A crown of steel and sorcery does. It’s really easy to get a poly relationship. You can mix and match and they’re all really cool with it. Though it’s not a super detailed romance
