@hyperbolou ro and mc pronouns are wrong almost all the time. I chose to play as female with female ROs and refered to as both his and her in the same sentence a lot.

Thank you! I know it happens frequently, and a lot of them still slip past my eyes because of my reading habits. I will go through it with a fine tooth comb in the editing phase (and hopefully before this update, but my work has been very demanding so I can’t promise too much or I will crumble under the pressure lol)

Nearly all web browsers have a built in dark/night mode option these days, and if it isn’t “built in” it can be added from the themes, and features selection pages for the browser online.
The only downside is if a WIP has an image for a chapter header; many of them don’t have dark mode alternatives, even if they’re using the more commonly used *style theme, and not the one you have currently. This ends up resulting in a black on black that my phone’s browser can’t “correct” by reversing it like a photo negative. Thus anything important might be nearly invisible while I’m using my browser’s built in dark mode. 
*I’m referring to the actual code structure of choice script here. A “style” determines pretty much everything about the resultant appearance of the thing being created at the source code level. It’s why you see some WIPs with a different ‘theme’ now, and again. Someone made it by editing a portion of choice script itself.

I hope MC and Idren hate flirts some more in the new update. Love the enemies to lovers trope and Idren dragging MC outta their home for refusing to go to the meeting is my favorite scene so far.

Oooh, that was tasty. Cookies were promised by someone else….but what do I have to do to tempt you to the dark side? I just want the delicious frustration of Id both simultaneously mad and in desire for MC because they wanted both L and MC, but things happen, and they are still mad because of L, but then MC is MC….and if things happen and suddenly Id has chaos poly with L/MC.

Ok, so I lied. Here’s another progress update before the actual update. 
I’m in the final throes of nanowrimo and so far, it has proven that my opinion on writing every day is still… complicated.
The update itself has long since passed the 50k mark (honestly, I don’t even know how to count interactive fiction wordcounts since some passages get repeated and that can really bloat the true wordcount, not to mention all the variations of scenefiles spread out over various cloudservices and cside). I try not to even bother with it. What I do know is that the update is huge, 7 whole chapters, and that’s when it still resembles a bit of a moth-eaten blanket with a few scenes and choices waiting to be filled in. My scrivener files say that the total wordcount for all finished scenes so far is 78.537? So there’s that.
I know that the standards for CoG/HG updates and wordcounts are insanely high, but for me to have written nearly 150k in less than one year is absolutely nuts! I’m insanely proud of myself.
As the end of nano hits on wednesday I’m going to give myself the grace to watch as the deadline whooshes past, and keep working the following weekend, because writing intensely on weekdays after work burns me out. I never get more than a couple hundred words on work days, no matter how hard I bash my skull against the wall, or cry, or bribe myself with fancy gifts. I’m better off having a stroll around town and forgetting about the beast that lurks in my PC.
Weekends have been very productive for me so far only because I give myself time to rest on weekdays, and this has been proven for three NaNo’s so far. I thought I could change it this year, but alas. Here we are.
I truly hope you’ll forgive me for the delay. I’m almost there!! I want to give myself the full month of December, but I have to be honest and say that it makes me terribly anxious over potentially disappointing you. Worst comes to worst, after the weekend I’ll post the first three chapters and chip away at the last three, or four, until it is done but before the year’s end.
Oh, and I finally named my chapters, lol, the ones in parentheses are in the demo already .
