Holy Moly! I’m still playing through this, currently going home after the polo practice that should have been the book club, but I love how you explain it’s not done yet. This is so, so good. Definitely will buy when you release. I’ve never played a COG with sound effects before. So cool.
ETA: I play with a black screen and just reached the “blink” Genius. You must really understand the software!
I can’t even fathom the level of organization required for this. My note guides for my games are already thousands of words long.
Thank you for the… I’m blanking on the word. The pictures you posted, thank you for them! I’ll bookmark.
Ah, the blink scene. That scene hurt my head so badly. I can’t see on light/white mode because of photosensitivity.
Oh, wait, I meant this in a funny way. I thought it was a bit funny playing on night/dark mode and then screaming in pain at two AM because of this scene! At least, it gets a good chuckle out of me (as I preemptively close my eyes in the future).
Oh, no! I hadn’t thought of that. I literally blinked because I always use dark mode, but I’m not sensitive. I’ve heard of sunglasses at night, but sunglasses in game?!!
I can’t begin to understand the level of organization plus crossover information. It’s been a long while since I’ve smiled and actually laughed out loud (or in my case talk to my screen out loud) in a game!
I have some doubts, how do i kill the guard , i have a serial killer MC and the option to do it is greyed out for me, also what is this bombs away how can i get that?
Looking at the code, it seems that the requirement for killing the guard is that you’re the Serial Killer AND you brought your knives with you (no other weapon)
The best one to save a copy of for importing later (so you can skip forward a bit) is the Chapter 2 Checkpoint page, which is right before the Chapter 2 Camelot dream.
That save file should NEVER be corrupted by any updates, which means you can save a copy and import it to skip Chapter 1 for the long haul.
Hopefully we will get a Chapter 3 Checkpoint page at the end of Chapter 2 as well, which will operate the same way (saving a copy of it and importing it will allow you to skip Chapter 1 and 2)
You’ll have to keep in mind when the dev does extensive changes to the startup file, checkpoint saves may still get corrupted but not always.
Be sure to double check when the dev warns for checkpoint save corruptions. Update 8 (this update) doesn’t seem to have any checkpoint save corruptions that I saw.
