Probably my favourite scene in the museum heist update. I laughed so hard when I got this the first time.
I come bearing another preview, this time from the main museum heist branch of Chapter2-6 (instead of MC’s Mini Adventure if they nope out of it)
The website was loading fine/fast for me! I’ll wait for it to be “finished” (if Wiki-type things are ever “finished”) before commenting further.

Someone on Tumblr did a comic of that scene too. Unless that was you? I have no clue who anyone is.
Hooray! I patiently await for your feedback; I’ll be posting tiny updates on my own Tumblr in case your feedback is something I’ve already changed.
I have been code diving and taking notes while doing so, and I thought maybe people would find these to be useful too:
So far the notes contain Free Time Hub options breakdown, protecting Merlin’s dance, packing before leaving your apartment, mc customization options list, and some other small stuff. This isn’t intended to be a guide but rather a note for myself, but I’d be happy if this could be of any help!
You are so lovely! This is absolutely helpful. Thank you for such detailed notes, and I love the fancy font you used for corruption!
I actually didn’t realize Chapter 2-4 was the Free Time Hub. ![]()
And the Free Time Hub is such a complex mechanic. I believe it took… a year or so for it to be implemented? I admire your thoroughness.
I didn’t either! I’ve been looking at the code while replaying recently and I just noticed there was no folder for a chapter 2-4.
Seconding Myeraland that this was helpful. I wasn’t aware you didn’t need to bring the tech repair kit in order to take the phones off the grid if you have the gadgetry hobby.
Added it the FAQ here and on Tumblr. I also fixed the bugs mentioned in the notes, which should be part of the next update.
Around 8 - 9 months, going by the Alpha Updates. It would have taken less time if I hadn’t front loaded it even with things that the MC can’t naturally trigger yet.
Keeping in mind what Tech MC can and can’t do with and without their kit is different.
Hiya author! Thank you so much for all your hard work and for adding the notes to the FAQ! Talk about bugs, at the end of the chapter2-3.txt, all the internet_presence gained from mc customization options were calculated again. Not sure if this is intentional, but wouldn’t this set internet_presence higher or lower than it normally should in some cases? (like when only one between internet addiction / amnesia background / crime hobby was chosen, internet_presence would end up becoming 4 or 0 instead of 3 or 1?)
Glad to be of help! If you check the code of chapter 2-3, at the end before we are directed to the free time hub, current_status would be set to 2.4. Plus there are also many codes that check if current_status is (or no less than) 2.4 or not.
Happy to be of help! ![]()
That’s… that’s what current status meant in the code. I’m so silly. ![]()
Since I haven’t updated in a bit, the website will go public next weekend. Perhaps a day or two earlier due to real life commitments…
Currently at 65000 words, 54500-58000 which are public to you all. Sounds like a lot, but it flies by (or… maybe I’m biased here).
I very quickly created a citation style so that I could reference the game’s code. Simply head to the FAQ page and select Guide to Footnote References (1400 words).
And then below are just teaser images:
I wanted to add and edit so much more, but I’m way sicker than usual. But, that’s what future updates are for! ![]()
Thanks to those who’ve checked out One Knight WIki so far. If you have, I’d edited light mode (visibility) and added about 1000 words of content (minor updates).
Here’s what I wanted to say; I’m still a bit sick, so if it sounds odd, sorry about that.
The initial site includes about 56,000 words you guys can access. I recommend to check out the Guide to Footnote References first as I’ve added the ability for you to fact check me using the game’s (work-in-progress) code.
The site is a compilation of One Knight Stand information, resources, brief chapter summaries, game tips and helps, geographical information (we are on a road trip), speculations!, and a massive work-in-progess construction of Arthurian legends and world as is canonical to the One Knight Stand game.
The site isn’t purely objective with its tone, as a small nod to the game and how whacky Arthurian legends can be. And I’m not sure how I as one person would stay interested!
The site is flooded with several nods to the game, such as the thematic number, reds and blues (silvers and golds), a night version banner of the cityscape similar to the Tumblr Development Blog, a medieval theme when referring to the past as the game changes its writing style for the past, and more things I’m forgetting.
While I’ve made the website, I’ve loved seeing how the community has come together with their resources and theories. The site is always open for feedback, your additions, etc.
I’ll keep updating the site throughout the year.
One Knight Wiki is located here.
I hope you feel better, too. No rush to look the site over. It seems everyone I know is getting sick lately.
Very biased here—I don’t mind shrinking the menu layout because, since I use very big font to see, 37+ options will have me scrolling for a very… very long time. ![]()
@Unregistered Will you make it in character customization to change our eye color more so we can make it Orange
And here is the preview for the first part of the Museum Heist (the normal part), which is now available in the Alpha Build on Patreon.
Behold all the potential weapons for the main weapon the MC uses throughout the first game. These include Arthurian lore accurate (i.e., the weapons that can actually be the MC’s Ultimate Weapon in the series), historically accurate for fifth-century Britannia, plus others that were requested by players.
These are also actual specific weapons that exist in the real world that the group will be stealing borrowing using from this point forwards.
Once the Public Beta has updated, I should have a poll up for whether this section should be broken down into five subfolders depending on the weapon’s fighting style (which should make the page look neater but would also require a lot more back and forth clicking for any players who want to read the descriptions of several different weapons).
Thanks! The code from Chapter2-3 was temporary for anyone who didn’t play through the start of the game again since I tweaked internet_presence in Chapter1 (and internet_presence needed to be calculated for entering the Free Time Hub).
I think it should be safe to remove it now*, so that will be part of the next update/is part of the current Alpha update.
*I actually should’ve probably removed it a few updates ago, but I forgor…
Whoo, sick buddies! *bro-fists and falls over*
I hope you’re feeling better now…! I added the Wiki to the FAQ, although I probably won’t be able to look it over properly myself until after I recover myself.
That’s pretty much the amber option for eyes. All the eye colors are those that are normally possible for humans (as rare as some of them might be, like red and violet).
The Changeling MC will have to wait until the Veil falls before they can start going all anime-colored.
