Prenzie from Midsummer Night’s Dream is so far my favorite romantic interest! Hands down! Piccolita & and the Maroon Knight are also cool options!
Alexius from Silverworld (I feel like these two are kind of similiar, eventhough Alexius is more morally grey and greedy than Prenzie) Control from Silverworld Vecla from Silverworld
Lyle from Sorcery is for Saps
Valentine from Tally Ho (Maybe I read too selectively, but I did not see that character make the list)
Tiana and Kral from Saga of the North Wind (I know I know … the romance is almost identical in the end, but I like the implicated struggle of Kral and his journey, and Tiana’s character!)
Alexandre and Eugine and the journalist (Lysander? I forget his name) from Eagle’s heir
Morgan and Y…V…Ivain?.(the fighter :D) from Pendraggon
I haven’t romanced Piccolita, and I don’t feel Prenzie got enough screentime to be all they could have been, but the Maroon Knight ended up very surprisingly sweeping the MC off their feet. With shades of Don Quixote, their love turned out very touching.
Can you tell me how to romance Arvo? I keep getting to the scene where I’m locked up and he comes to visit, but I guess my relationship isn’t high enough to unlock to romance? The romance choice is always greyed out. The highest I’ve gotten my relationship with him is 66 and I can’t seem to get it any higher… Please help!
Prodigal/Masami/Dirty Girl/Loren/Steampunk Tarzan Girl/The ideas of dying in Doomsday on demand/ intentionally not romancing anyone in Wayhaven Because the game tries to peer pressure me into it
I think you need to approach him in the very beginning, when you have the list of different ways you can deal with the bully (who’s name I forget; it’s been awhile since I played Runt of the Litter).
You also need to have high relationship with the thralls… stand up to the bully but don’t go to the council member. Share your secret with him and whenever possible side with the thralls. In mission always priorities the safety of the thralls over council.
I am turning out to be a very twisted and manipulative villain. One moment I am ready to kill Ortega or anyone else… the next moment I am trying to see if they are safe…lol
In the future, please combine posts made to different people to one, so it cuts down on spam. Using the @ function works to get everyone’s attention just fine.
I dunno he was sorta a rough kind of guys that I sympathized with.
You know until he tries to outright kill you obviously and you realize everything you’ve done means nothing to mean because he can’t move on from his girlfriend, and he has become really unhinged.
I haven’t played a great many games (yet) but so far it’s a tie between Dusk from The Superlatives: Aetherfall and Silvanus from Fatehaven. Apparently I have a soft spot for morally grey characters with mysterious eldritch powers. Without getting into spoilers, I found Silvanus’s true motivations fascinating and wish there’d been more detail about how he dealt with it all, and Dusk’s combination of dramatic strength and vulnerability/self-doubt had me hooked.
Honourable mention to Heart of the House; I couldn’t pick one romance option over the others as a favourite, they were all impressively well written.
Heart of the House was good for romance (and also had the most NSFW scenes I’ve seen in a CoG game to date - I honestly didn’t know authors were allowed to get that explicit in official games.)
I’ve posted here before with some of my previous favorites, but I have another character I want to add to my personal list. Ashleigh Wakefield, because witty banter gets me every time. Also I like when characters fight their feelings a little bit.
Whew I love romance but only a few lasted a good impression on me.
Finch from A study in Steampunk, he’s just so… I love the bond between him and MC, feels really organic and realistic, please more of that.
Tal, Vance in Choice of Magics, best wife, best husband
F, M, A, N from Wayhaven Chronicles, beautiful fleshed out characters
Haze & partly Rory from Tally Ho
Everyone seems to love Fallen Hero, I should check that out even if superhero themes aren’t that high on my list
