Hiii! I really like the concept! I normally don’t do games that involve detective work because I’m extremely incompetent lmao.
In certain instances, you gave a vast array of choices but the quantity didn’t matter much because there wasn’t a lot of variety. Most of them were, like, the same thing but with a different font?
F.ex.
Character B: did you choose our case?
“Well, no. But it’s not like I drew the short straw.” 1
“My supervisor assigned me this case, but I’m truly committed to it.” 2
“Nope, but my boss thought I’d be perfect for this case.” 3(?)
“My supervisor assigned me to this case, but I treat every case with the utmost seriousness.” 2
“The boss gave me this case. But I don’t take on cases unless I’m going to give them my all.” 2
“My boss assigned me your case, and I’m thrilled to be here.” 2
“My supervisor gave me this case, but I assure you, I intend to win - at any costs.” 2
“My boss assigned me this case, but I’m deeply committed to helping families like yours.” 2
So, you could probably reduce 8 to 3.
I can see the subtle changes in nuance. But… those additions didn’t really seem necessary. Idk.
