bows Thank you.
 It means he was practically desperate for whatever it was. If Sophia knows they were from Darvis, it’s even worse, because he didn’t even bother to cover his trail too much. I doubt even he’d be crazy enough to send his soldiers, but even if he hired mercenaries or bandits, they were still obviously Darvisian. Which leaves me wondering where this Slesonia is, what importance it has, and who rules it, since nobody seems to have bothered defending it or calling Andus out. If there was something important hidden there, it was either really well hidden (which begs the question of how Andus found out) or it was poorly defended.
…Alright, I’m done ranting and possibly ruining Sophia’s plot points xD goes back to book

Oh cool. We’re almost 18k.

waits for war over claiming 18k to begin

Looks like wars ain’t coming in this thread anymore.

Reply 18k has been taken.

It’s in neutral territory, magic academy is in that land. This just confuse me more though, why would he want something that (maybe) have anything to do with magic?

I’ll give you one clue. :smirk:

Lust.

He hates magic !!!

He wouldn’t attack a neutral country without a good reason.

Is he trying to resurrect a long lost love? Like Aless or his former Queen.

I’m not only talking about King Andy.

Lust is different from love.

Huh who then? try to remembering who else that lust aside from duke velas and Stephanie

Try reading Sophia’s Prologue again. I can’t give any more clues.

takes a deeeep breath
With all those mages in one place, you’d think at least a few would defend it. And even if you assume that the men Andus sent were armed with some sort of magic-nullifying device (assuming that it would exist/work on that scale) there are more people living there who’d know how to defend themselves. Also, the men would have to pass through other territories to get there, how come nobody stopped them? I get that Andus might order the nobles to keep their own men on a leash and not attack, but A) that would ruin any sort of secrecy and B) anyone not guard/soldier might still try and do something about them. Also, man was Andus inviting open war by doing this. I’m surprised Lucraex did nothing. He really threw all caution to the wind, huh? I could go on, but I’ll stop here. gasps for breath, sweats
