January 2025 Writer Support Thread

I’ve actually ended up simplifying my planned code for tracking relationships, and I really like how it is now. It still consists of three variables for most companions; namely, BOND (every companion has one of these), ROMANCE (only romanceable companions have one of these) and LOYALTY (every companion has one of these, but it remains hidden).

I’ve actually done a quick mock-up demo so people can have a look if you’re interested. You can find it here!

I’d love to hear some feedback about the system. (note: initially, I wanted BOND to be tracked by arrows (it is a Robin Hood story, after all), but the arrow symbols I found didn’t pop out as much as what I ended up using.)
