This week, we’ve been talking with E. Jade Lomax, author of Stay?, put a spotlight on the Tales to Thrill Jam, checked a bunch of other events, found PLENTY of new releases and updates, opened a couple of letters, and highlighted some really neat games!
This week, we had a terrific discussion with Jacqueline A. Lott, the organizer of the IFComp! So, we took another peek at the IFComp, and other IF events, found a bunch of releases and updates, opened a couple of letters, and highlighted some cool games!
This week, we talked to Kit Riemer, author of awarded Computerfriend! We also saw a bunch of events ending (new games!), and a lot of updates (more to play!)…
Did we do something wrong? Or maybe we did something right? Is there something else you’d like us to include in the zine? Or something you’d like us to avoid in the future? Or maybe you have comments on how we run things?
Whether you liked or hated the issue, tell us more about your thoughts!Give us some feedback! Feedback is always anonymous and only seen by the WNIF team.
We’re doing our best, but it doesn’t mean we can’t try to be better! Feedback help us achieve that.
But above all else, likes or reblogs tell us you read the zine! Any interaction with our posts or itch.io page helps us see if we actually reach people! And if you leave a reply, a comment or tags, we get to know how we’re doing! <3
If you’ve read the latest issue you surely already know about it… but why not announce it once more?
Everyone’s favourite holiday is upon us, and as a celebration, we in the WNIF team decided to make the next two issues HALLOWEEN THEMED! What does that mean? Aside from a slight graphic change, we will be adding a recommendation section - something of a larger version of the Highlight on… section you’re already used to.
But for that, we will need your help! Is there a game that you love that just screeches “Halloween!” at you? Share it with us and we will include it in one of our Halloween double-issues so all our other readers can check it out as well.
It turns out that some of us don’t know how to count (It’s me, Dion. I don’t know how to count.) and we forgot to mention that the Halloween Issues will be coming out in the last two weeks of October - October 26th and November 2nd. That means that this week, there will be a regular Issue. You can still send us game recommendations!
(Again, I’m so sorry. Turns out there are three weeks until Halloween, not just two, who would have thought? I guess I got too excited…)
It’s time to get spooky! Join us in celebrating by playing some of the games in the Recommendations section.
You can also send us your own recommendation for the next Issue!
One Issue just wasn’t enough! Halloween might have officially passed, but not at WNIF. Join us in celebrating by playing some of the games in the Recommendations section.
We’re very sorry to anyone who was excited to read it, but some personal matters came in the way and we don’t see it happening this weekend. Don’t worry, we’ll try to release it next week, so you won’t miss any news!
