Thanks; I also should get Last of the Mohicans out at the library. for the purposes of writing these, a good historical fiction is often just as good as a proper history book.
The Fort William Henry event might be a good rail-roaded dramatic point.

You really really like you to read betrayal!! It’s top-notch when it goes into the context of those relationships during the war. A huge thing is the importance of captives and slaves for right of victory.
Another big thing is the captives experience
