You need to have your current feelings towards Seven be “in love”, not had positive reaction from Blake from the New York Song (which I think is currently bugged to always be negative so you shouldn’t have to worry about it), get in the same car as Blake after the fight breaks out in the club and confess to them your in love with seven and not tell them you’re lying about it.
Oh, and you need to choose to write for Soft Violence. Obviously.

Well hopefully she’s ironing out bugs, because I’ve heard there are some pretty annoying ones that completely reset some relationship scores to 0 or their original. Plus some bugs that you can only avoid by skipping chapters
Choicescript is a map with large portions of it annotated with “there be bugs”.
Has she fixed the quickstart for chapter 4 that made sure it was physically impossible to have relationships with Seven that were higher than 20%, by the way? The game is quite long, after all. Replaying each and every chapter gets annoying after a while.

Chapter 5 was so buggy on Patreon release I’m not touching it without a code and I wonder why it’s hidden this time. You can access it still, but not without jumping some hoops…eh. Some time later.

I know about the losing but how can you win? Is there specific choices that matter the most?
I chose to write for B 's band, skip the party and do their writing style.
If you are writing for UW, there is a chance of the bug that makes winning impossible. You need 5+ points to win, at least 2 of those come with performance, and said bug skips UW’s performance in entirety. There are more points in SV route so I think it’s easier to win even if the bug is there as well?
Haven’t figured out what causes it yet. At first I thought it was yet another bug that causes MC sing Blake’s bad song lyrics instead of SV’s if MC’s relationship with 7 is <= 65 and >50, but after I went back to Chapter 3 even, sucking up to that ratbastard and hating them more and more with every suck up and raised it above 65, turns out that having a good song written for you has bupkis effect on the winning score. 
Also, 7 is omniscient now and you lose points with them even in the scenes they’re not present for. I wonder how that works, do they randomly think about MC, get pissed and then we get a ding?
There is also a bug that set coldfeet to true, bug that gave August romance points, bug that killed Victoria’s romance points and I am just at the beginning of this entomologist’s dream of a chapter. 
P.S: I think I remember seeing somewhere that UW performance skip is caused by going to the party. So if you didn’t go, you should have written song beneficial to UW, with their simple lyrics, crowd-pleasing, chose to sleep for career MCs, rehearse all night for frivolous ones, appeal to the fans if approachable, focus on music if not, play on band’s dynamic if attached, focus on self if not.
