Ryland having the same traumatic experience with spirits with the MC is interesting to explore or flesh out. It’s also possible that if the counciling doesn’t work for the MC, it might work having to deal with it with Ryland

For only one chapter this peeked my interest!! I like the mystery behind it and your writing style is very nice, easy to follow and keeps my interest.
For some reason, this has me thinking about writing in the ability to have a one night stand with Ryland when you talk to him.
I would like to include more Ryland scenes, minor or otherwise. He was fun! And not quite as much of a jerk as he was in the previous demo. Spencer was even more fun to write though!

Thank you so much for reading! I’m glad my writing style is okay-- I know it’s… simplistic. Which isn’t a bad thing! I just worry it can be repetitive and dull. Knowing someone is interested by just the first chapter is a great start though!

I really like the reboot! Everything seems extra interesting and like the characters have a second layer to them with all of their respective problems and traits. Ryland feels a lot more fleshed out now, and I don’t hate him as much anymore lol. Can’t wait to see what comes next!

What you said about Ryland… Oh gosh I, personally, would love that! I think it adds more layers to their relationship and even to the romance with the ROs. I surely would love to know how Nyx reacts to this, considering how much he seems to dislike Ryland.
On another note, I loved the update! The way you introduce the Wraith attack and the MC’s trauma was so freaking cool. And as other people have said, I really like Ryland way more this way. He can be a prick, but at least you can understand a little bit more why and sympathize with him. I can’t wait to see more of your work and flirt more with Nyx lol. Keep up the good work!

@ceresvaldez I will keep it in mind then. I’m glad you liked the update, although I will most likely be making some minor changes to allow more reaction choices.
As someone brought to my attention on Tumblr (and thank you for doing so), if MC feels helpless to you (or is even more than they were before), please let me know. I do have plans for MC that will hopefully make MC seem not so helpless but, now I’m uncertain. I wonder if it’d be enough…! If MC feels “predetermined”, let me know! I’ll be making edits to how MC and Nyx react to each other, at least slightly.
