That’s a fine piece of art as always. Unsurprisingly the Usurper can be very brutal. Just one question: Why when we manually create our own army, we can’t select the numbers of heavy cavalry avaible to us? I could only get a total of 50-100 when i know you can end the first game with much more.
PS. I’m amazed that in some path, there are still noble and soldiers willing to follow Rade after he can lose nearly 4/5 of his own army. 0 survival instict
The above one is more of a preference/suggestion than an error. None of these choices feel quite right so another choice added like ‘#But I dare not think on it too long.’ or ‘#By my own hand, perhaps.’ may be good.
Ahhh, you have no idea how badly I’ve been waiting for this! I have yet to check out the demo (I’m sure it’s amazing), so sorry if my question has already been answered there, but can we still romance the newly added ROs if we’ve already romanced one of the ROs in ITFO?
Thank you for the treat !! Im super excited to read the sequel!! <3333333333
Kinda confused by this. I’m pretty sure my character wasn’t struck and my character’s head shouldn’t hurt/be damaged. If it was supposed to happen, it definitely wasn’t clear in the text.
I believe I made the right choice I spared our brother who is a dick but a loyal dick when he witnesses what the Duke is doing to his own people I can insult them all I want but he’s still family even though he’s a pain in the ass That’s what I was raised by do I like him hell no do you want to suck him yes do I want him to learn what he tried to do definitely siblings to have to stick together even though they’re a pain in the ass I’m a half brother pretty much a bastard myself and a stepbrother so yeah I pretty much get the concept but family is something you can’t get rid of and witnessing what became of him in the cells yeah I want a closer eye on him and make him learn his actions do have consequences
Finally finished the demo after taking a short break to eat lunch and answer tumblr asks.
I absolutely love it and I’d say theres enough content here for a read so far (took me around 3 hours excluding breaks). There’s a good amount of action and I love the interactions.
The only problem is the few errors I’ve spotted and ofc posted here across multiple messages, but those are easily fixable and inevitable when you release 80 thousand words. Also it’d be nice if there were more mentions of our character’s mental state and I’d love more interactions with characters like Darin or our army (like choosing to visit them or something).
Extra note: I just have to say seeing the “gov’nor” and “I’s” again filled me with delight. I know some people are annoyed seeing accent written out in text but I personally love it and consider it part of Bacondoneright’s style. It just wouldn’t hit the same if it was written out how its ‘supposed’ to be and it gives the character’s extra charm.
Anyways so ye I enjoyed reading the demo and I am excited for more.
I just saw this today. Oof, I’m so excited. Can’t wait to play and jump in. Marshal Anna’s story shall continue!
Update: I enjoyed the first chapter, and I felt that the Marshal wasn’t as broken as she was in the begining of ITF1. I think that it was a good change. Can’t wait to reunite with Milon. Veluska’s prologue was haunting, and well-written.
Although I’m surprised that we can’t ratchet up Elya’s strength to 6+ in the quick build and have Vedran at 4+ respect while still punching him. And I’m also surprised that Roach the horse survives into B2C1 even though she died in my canon playthrough (she died in the cavalry charge won us the final battle).
I am curious about the F/F route and who it’s going to be and how she will meet the Marshal. Perhaps as Elya’s/the Marshal’s lady-in-waiting? And I wonder if a regent/monarch M!Marshal will have a chance to meet her like Milon, Lada, and Obren for Marshals of incompatible orientations. And I’m just a little sad that Dismas will not become a secret RO.
I’m really glad to see the sequel! The first part left an indelible impression, I was tearing my hair out at the end when I realized that I was a joint and everything went badly (thank you for having second chances :)) You are very talented, after a year of reading, I still remember the emotions that were bubbling up in me) Even the translator I use to read couldn’t ruin the quality of your text. Thank you for continuing to work on the second part! Let these be the first and last difficulties in your work)
