Weekly Update - October 06, 2024
Hello, revengers!
Quick update this week, Iāve gotten further with the homecoming campaign. Since Iāve created so many ways for you to gain popularity, there are quite a lot of variants to consider.
Sorry for the short update, there are times when all I have to write are relatively boring things to describe. I should be able to finish the whole campaign this upcoming week and start working on asking one of the ROs to be your homecoming date. Oh oh!

Weekly Update - October 27, 2024
Hello, everyone! Short update this week. Iāve written how two ROs can ask you out for the homecoming dance if you have enough relationship points. Otherwise, nothing really crazy. Iāve just had to go through a lot of variables and create them or fix them, since it seems I was really clumsy on my phone. Also a lot of typo fixes.

So, as I said the previous updates, Iām working on choice to ask someone out for homecoming right now. And the options are all the ROs and one extra person (Lydia, the drummer).
The extra person is not really going to be a true romantic choice, and it she will not have a real plot to evolve the romance. Maybe just a little fling thing, nothing too real. But, are there any other characters that you feel would make sense for the MC to ask to be their date?
I donāt think so, but maybe I missed an amazing friendship or flirt sesh on the side while writing so many words and completely forgot. I know many of you are missing a lot of content, so you donāt really know of some of the characters that can appear in some relationship events, but is there anyone else I should maybe include?
Please leave a suggestion if I forgot someone important that would make sense. And donāt be afraid to write suggestions, I wonāt concede and add 10 extra options just to make people happy, but I wanna know if I maybe have a character that could fit this role and forgot about them.

Iām sort of conflicted, honestly. We donāt really know enough after one month to have a date. I feel like I could RO Connor more seriously, but as a male MC, we are still dealing with his unrequited crush of Vivian (and thatās only if heās no longer female option only). Then Marcus would be my next cause heās an ally, but weāve had no time with him outside of scheming. Maybe Dylan, but againā¦he still feels like a stranger/poser. 
Isaac might also prove interesting, but again I know nothing on him really. Our moleās info has been fairly useless and surface level so far. So even plotting of revenge at this point doesnāt have enough info to go on.
Basically, my MC still feels like to much a stranger at a new school to be rocking a homecoming date or victim already. 
Probably Marcus then, cause then we can cover up our alliance and meetups with a ādatingā guise.

Weekly Update - November 03, 2024
Hello, revengers! Another week, another update!
Iāve gotten pretty far this week. There are 4 ROs that can ask you out to the homecoming dance and Iāve written all the ways they can do that under the right circumstances. Iāve also written what happens if you ask Dylan out in a public way, for everyone to see. It was pretty fun. Iāve also started on Oliviaās public homecoming proposal.
Some of you might also remember that Iāve added a sexuality and past experience question that appears once you have your first raunchy interaction in the game. Iām planning on moving it to chapter 2 since Iāve come to realize that yes, people that you arenāt attracted to will still flirt with you, I know, it sucks, but the narrator should be aware of this stuff earlier on, since the MC kinda is the narrator. And itās weird for them not to know that you donāt like men when Isaac is all over you, ya know? At least make a snide comment, narrator! This should also stop the narrator from thirsting over characters that your MC isnāt attracted to naturally. This does not mean you wonāt be able to flirt with them, only that it is a conscient and forced decision to flirt with someone youāre not attracted to just for your revenge. Mua ha ha. (the narrator might judge you tho, get used to it)

Weekly Update - November 10, 2024
Hello, revengers!
I spent a lot of this week relooking at older chapters to maybe change things around. One of the bigger things I did is that I added a sexuality choice in chapter 2, after looking at the lives the targets are living. This will help the narrator better when talking about their looks and not being thirsty for characters that your MC isnāt naturally attracted to.
Iāve also added a little flavor thing: if you choose the surname of one of your 8 extra fathers, youāll get a little comment about their reaction. Since only 4 fathers have been presented so far, only these get a comment. I might also make it impossible to choose the surname of one of the targets, but Iāll think about it.
I also wasted some time trying to change a bit what happens in chapter 2. I need some opinions here, if anyone feels like chiming in. I was thinking of adding a conversation with the 9th dad before the MC talks to their mom about the video of the Tragedy, with this father actively pushing the idea of revenge. Not necessarily going back and doing what we are doing, but putting more seeds in our MCās brain for the idea to go through. Idk, sorry for wasting time on something that I havenāt even gone through with. Tell me if it sounds good or if itās just unnecessary.
The public hoco proposal for Olivia is also written and done and, ohoho, itās kinda cringe. I will love to see your reactions to embarrassing her like that. Or embarrassing your MC like thatā¦
Other than that, hereās finally the link to the Discord server, where you can ask me any questions you want about the story and gossip around about the characters.

I hope there is a way to ask Angela in public by asking her to leave the swimming club right behind Cecily(make up an excuse) , hiring a crowd, having a banner āwill you go to Homecoming with me?ā and looking straight towards Cecilyās direction. In a route that Cecily would have actually accepted would be quite a funny/awkward situation.

But I find it odd that Dad / Father Number 1 (And the adult), isnāt one of the targets for revenge?
(Like a main one)
Like this might just be me, but I feel rational fully grown adults, with a duty of care should really be suffering some major legal consequences for what happened on the Tragedy (As blah blah blah ākids have no concept of right and wrong, arenāt mature enough for the whole criminal act, criminal mind dealā).
I can conceive that the students, due to their age (Even if the plot itself, and the horribleness of it, calls into question how much of an excuse mental maturity is.) and their parentās subsequent wealth and influence (Because theyād likely use their police connections, and wealth to just sue and sue). Would stop them (The Kids) from getting anything other than a stern word.
But considering that there was blood, and posted video evidence, I canāt conceive of a world where the Dad number 1 kept their job? Let alone Mr Gibbs (Child endangerment? Let alone criminal negligence of letting a kid just wander off bleeding?).
Iām guessing the reason the schools so good, facility wise, is because the parents gave Dad 1 a shitton of donations. Because thatās the only way I could see this being swept under the rug. Cause no-way in hell someone doesnāt accidentally spill the beans that āCreey Kidā got what they deserved.
And even if the character couldnāt get legal repercussions for Dad 1, itād be a literal golden ticket for any political enemy of Dad 1, to have public statements from their own kids saying how āif theyād neglect their own children, what would they do to yours / the state?ā

While i agree with overall sentiment, iirc MCās first dad has nothing to do with the elementary school where the Tragedy has happened. He is managing the high school MC now attends, but itās a different facility altogether.
To misuse a quote, MCās dad may be an asshole, but not 100% a dick.

Weekly Update - November 17, 2024
Hello, revengers!
Chapter 4 is officially 100k words long! Which is so long, I have no idea how long this game will be, but itās really getting up there with the word countā¦
Iām also done with Cecilyās public homecoming proposal, which was much longer than the others. Obviously, because a public rejection from her has to be brutal and moreā¦ wordy.
Connorās is up next, and it should be done this week. Iām going to try to push harder cause I actually wanna write homecoming, not just the buildup to it. I might even just skip to homecoming and come back to this since Iām getting tired of the āwill you be my homecoming date?ā question.

Holly molly critical reading fail on my part, though doesnāt help that Im use to schools that combine years prep to year 12 or senior for Americans into one.
That makes Dad 1 slightly better, but doesnt shield Mr Gibbs or whatever his name is, in any case thanks for the information.

To be fair Mr.Gibbs got fired some 1-2 years afterwards, so i like to think that the event involving MC had at least something to do with it, even if it took a while for him to get his comeuppance. And well, now the MC can make sure to dish out some justice personally, too :v

Weekly Update - November 24, 2024
Hello, revengers!
Slow week this week, Iāve started writing Dylanās private hoco-proposal. Iāve also changed how some of the stuff is written in older chapters.
I think Iāve hit a bit of a burnout point, but Iāll jump right out of it, donāt worry. I was kinda overwhelmed when I realized how many proposals I have to write, but Iām going to get over it quickly.
Anyway, sorry for the boring update, I have a lot of free time next week, so hopefully will have a big update then.
