Right. It’s also a bit weird that our lady in waiting or lord in waiting casually threw the mc, a Royal, letter into the fire after reading it without permission and acted as if they were above the mc and the mc had to explain themselves to them…it took me right out, I had to stop reading then and there. Honestly I was a bit annoyed from the first time they appeared since they seemed a bit disrespect but I let it slide since the mc and them may be close enough for that and we don’t know their history yet but destroying the mc letters without giving them a chance to read it and acting like they had the right to do that is crossing a line for a servant no matter how close they were, especially if something important was in that letter. Honestly if I was the mc I’ll have replaced them immediately. It’s a bit weird that the mc is letting themselves be disrespected like that not only by their lady/lord in waiting but also by their new guard.
I’m sorry this made you quit reading! I actually was planning on changing that part-and some others- because it felt like a little too much, even with their more dramatic disposition. Thanks for the input!
