Happy pride month, everybody! I was recently thinking about my childhood bully who called me a fag every day of elementary and middle school. I looked him up and, yup, he’s in prison and definitely addicted to drugs. Sometimes the best revenge is just living a good life while the bigots and bullies crash and burn from the consequences of their own actions

This year, I want to thank all the authors here who have made it possible to play an explicitly asexual character. Bonus thanks if you used the word “asexual” (assuming it was appropriate for the setting, of course).
If you made it possible to play an asexual character and still experience romance, I am grateful from the bottom of my heart. Extra gratitude if asexual characters aren’t automatically excluded from sex scenes.
If your game includes an explicitly asexual NPC, i love you. If they’re a romance option, I love you even more.
Special shoutout to all you Heart’s Choice writers who include an asexual option.
Special shoutout to those authors whose characters can explicitly discuss asexuality and what it means for their lives and relationships.
Special shoutout to @abbytrevor, who has created quite possibly my favorite canonically asexual character ever.
Thank you for contributing to a world that has shifted before my eyes. As a teenager I thought I was - probably not literally the only one, but for all intents and purposes the only one. And now I don’t even auto-buy every book with an asexual character anymore, because I’m not so desperate for representation that I can’t afford to be a little choosy (or rich enough that I can afford not to be). You helped that happen, and I cannot thank you enough.

Happy pride people! I’m super glad I ended up encountering these book game things, they were more or less my introduction to the fact that lgbtqia+ stuff exists and I am certain I am a better person for having read them. Hope everyone has a great june!

Happy Pride everyone. I hope for you to remember you are valid and wonderful regardless of what negative people say. You are loved and wanted in this world. I know with how America is right now it’s scary and that is why pride month is so important.
As a mom to a bisexual son who I love more than anything in this world, know people love and care for you and will support you.

Happy pride month to all the queer people reading. May we all survive and thrive
The first thing that got my attention about these games many years ago was the fact that you could always play a queer character in the CoG label. It was rarer then and still not a given these days. I love that these games give space for queer characters to have badass, intense, emotional, romantic adventures and that’s such a huge part of what keeps me coming back.
And a special thank you this month to all the amazing queer writers here for sharing your work for us to enjoy. I appreciate you.

Thank you, Harris for giving writers a safe space like CoG, HC and HG to write their stories and create an amazing community. I love these stories, apps and the community as a whole because I finally found a community to share my thoughts, ideas, interest, and many other things. So thank you, to you and all the staff that made this community - a reality!
