what stats do i need for villian name side step on first book
@Jason95821 Your arrogance has to be greater than 65 to name yourself Sidestep
How to fight Jake at auction as mob boss ? And how to gain relationship wit HG ? I tried many playthrough I only got 16%
That’s really the best relationship you’re going to get
If you agree to HG’s offer, some of the dialogue options you choose during the meeting affect what friendship stat level you have with HG.
Did you want details on what weakens or strengthens HG’s impression of the villain during the meeting?
I think not shaking hands with HG at all, especially when you say your farewells, is one thing that lowers the relationship stat quite a bit.
But I think there will be more interactions with HG in third book so I would encourage you to just choose options that fit with your Sidestep and see whether HG’s impression will get better (or worsen) in the third book.
Also @Sujan_Dhakal 16% is not the best stat you can get, it can be better or worse. One of my Sidesteps had 34% after the meeting with HG while other Sidestep had something like 12%?
Which choice you choose ?could give me some details about your sidestep choice? Could you give me some choice guide?
Jesus, who knew the kingpin of Los Diablos would be hard to please
Of course! I’m going to list some of the things I remember.
But first off…in some cases, shaking hands with HG might be a good start to a better relationship
Here are the things I know strengthen/weaken the HG relationship because of my Sidesteps choices:
Summary
-Asking HG why they chose to let Sidestep meet them face to face strengthens the relationship.
-If your villain name is Sidestep but your reputation back in the day wasn’t high enough to be known as a hero, revealing to HG that you’re the former associate of the Rangers Sidestep strengthens the relationship.
(I know Heartbreak and Anathema also have their own special dialogues during the meeting but I don’t unfortunately know what happens there)
-If HG knows you used to be a hero and asks why you changed sides, making a joke and saying “Who says I have?” strengthens the relationship.
-Agreeing that power to create earthquakes is a good way to keep people in line strengthens the relationship (also raises ruthless stat).
-On the other hand, saying “So you make the ground crack under their feet” doesn’t strengthen or weaken the relationship
-Being a bit of an asshole toward Jake lowers HG’s impression of the villain (specifically when HG says Jake deals with more hands-on aspects of their business, the option “Really? I wouldn’t have guessed” lowers HG’s impression of the villain)
-While saying farewells, choosing the option “That goes both ways” weakens the relationship.
-Also not shaking hands with HG when you say your farewells weakens the relationship, especially if you also refused to shake hands with HG when you first met, that lowers the relationship a lot.
And here is a list none of my Sidesteps personally chose but I vaguely recall lower the relationship,
Summary
-If HG knows the villain is a telepath, complaining about the dampeners weakens the relationship.
-I think If you were known to be a hero in the past and HG asks why you changed sides, refusing to give an answer to HG is one thing that weakens the relationship.
Or showing bitterness that you don’t have any other choice but to be a villain lowers the relationship (I think it’s written as option “It’s not like I have any choice in the matter”)
-Showing overt disapproval of the power to create earthquakes weakens the relationship, meaning the option “and what about the collateral damage” or something along those lines.
I know the Captured path also has options that affects the relationship stat but I only got it once so I don’t remember what affected things there
Would not recommend shaking hands, unless you have either subtlety or strength of mind 81 or above
Hey now
But yea there are interesting changes depending on telepathy levels and if you shake/don’t shake HG’s hand (or if you sent puppet to the meeting)
One of my Sidesteps got caught in the web and I’m really interested to see what happens there.
Though I am interested to see what happens in all of the scenarios.
4 posts were split to a new topic: Fallen Hero Fan Art
O_O
Does anyone know if there a way to, or if we will ever be able to, purchase those elsewhere? Maybe as future DLC for the games or a self-published collection?
Now that is a question for @malinryden if anything is.
Personally, I understand your issue with Patreon, I have a lot of same gripes but I was able to put mind over matter in this case to support the project.
Looks fantastic! Which AI did you use?
This actually looks amazing! And here I was, thinking artbreeder was the most that was possible when it comes to AI-generated characters. This also might finally make me pass up on Ortega and romance Steel for once.
I ll probably try to do Ortega next and then I want to do Anathema, MC and the puppet and maybe Mortum.
I’ve always taken a Doylist approach to whether or not Sidestep is a real Re-Gene, or just HG’s kidnapped sibling. I’m of the opinion that it would nullify a lot of Sidestep’s inner turmoil very anticlimactically, like, “Oh, you’re a normal person after all,” without any real solution to the problem of what it means to be human. No catharsis. It’d be too lackluster in my opinion, and thus to me it wouldn’t make sense. I’d more lean toward Sidestep being cloned off HG’s sibling’s DNA.
I mean it is especially that story quite literally spells it out that he is an artificial human.
However, that is also why there is an important theme all through out both books of acceptance and realization or potential realization that it doesn’t matter how you came to be, but what is within and that he is in fact a human anyway.
Hi I registered an account just to say this is awesome! Never been much of a fan of the superhero setting, but I really like how this one goes. I’ve played through it twice now, with wildly different characters, and enjoyed both.
Good work. Can’t wait for the sequel.
The AI is trying it’s best! But it’s true that it looks more like a teenager with a fake mustache.
