Christmas is always hectic, but I somehow managed to reach 38K words in my Last Dream project.
Hopefully, I will start releasing it before new year’s day. I gotta say I love 
it so far, I hope you’ll like it too.

I did positive in Omicron so even if I am not really bad health, I have to be alone in christmas to protect my family. It is weird how materialistic stuff lose all that importance when something bad happens. So hug your family and forget material stuff thisdays even if you don’t celebrate any of the different cultural holidays. Our people is the important. Peace in earth my internet family

Got my Christmas present this morning: finished my 10k goal earlier than any other month this year. This also means I hit my marks every month in 2021. It’s not a fast pace, compared to my previous stories. But it is steady, and hopefully repeatable. Lord willing, I will have a lot more years left, and doing 100k a year will eventually lead to a solid amount of output. Especially since my word counts are always code excluded until I finish a story, so as HG itself regards it I am writing a fair amount more than 100,000 words.
I hope y’all are enjoying the holiday season, and may 2022 be an even better year for all of us. Merry Christmas!
I’m finally passed the 25k mark with my wip (i.e. a completed prologue, ch 1 and ch 2). All that I wanted was to at least finish ch 2 before the year is over and I finally did! 
I also finally figured out how many chapters were even going to be in this wip: 8. Until my brain pressures me into making more. I also am trying out outlining my chapters from now on, but its proving to be far more difficult than I thought it would.

Concept/Synopsis:
An unexpected apocalypse takes you away from your hi-tech metropolis, sending you to a distant, very different world. In this new fantasy world, elemental magic permeates the soil, Buddhist philosophy leads people’s lives and Hindu demigods (Devas and ASuras) fight for supremacy.
Why did you get here?
Is there a way back home?
But most of all, is this reality, or is it just a dream?

Hey everybody, it is currently 2.26 AM, and I have written just over 3000 words.
Happy New Year’s Eve! 
Done and then some! The FoA goal was met exactly but comfortably, and we’ve gotten half a scene into the chapter of Diaspora after the chapter we just released, so that’s pretty nice news there. Someday, that beast of a project will be done. And someday better be 2022 or I’m going to have words with myself.
Anyway, pretty pleased with how December went. How’s everyone else doing?
Didn’t actually reach this goal, but I did complete a one-shot and wrote about 10000 words this month, which is more than I’ve done in a while. And that with holiday preparations. I’m pretty happy with it.

December sped by for me; this last week was especially fast-paced for me.
My goals for this month turned out to be a bit more complicated than I’d hope.
Continue writing the next scene for my Emigre project and get at least 50% of it written – Sort of completed.
Redesign the project I outlined last month – this is a carry-over goal from last month – Completed and then some.
Finish and deploy my first major update for my Emigre project – Still working on this one
Provide Feedback – Done
The feedback goal is always fun for me, so it usually gets completed easily. The major update goal is the hardest for me. As a consequence, it looks like it will be carried over into the next year.
I’ll be opening the January thread shortly.
So, instead of writing for this month, I’ve been simply talking the month off my story. So, next month, or whenever I get a rush of inspiration to write, I can enjoy it, rather then feel obligated to write it.
As 2022 nears its arrival here, I am slightly regretful at my lack of sufficient progress towards my goals. 
Perhaps I had too much optimism towards my achievable productivity in a month of upper-division finals and family holidays, though I know my own irresponsibility must mainly account for my subpar achievements towards game development in December. (Though I did seriously underestimate the time that would be spent in familial activities. And I had not planned for my glasses to break upon my first day back in California, causing myself eye strains and headaches that I should not have agitated with so much reading and screens. Oops. 
)
Instead of coding (which received more attention in the early month), I instead shifted more to fleshing out more character work and scene drafts to further solidify the numerous introductions of key personas. The branches available in, rather than a ‘prologue’ I am now envisioning as an ‘Origins’ chapter, are as overwhelming as they are fun to plan - yet it is difficult to ignore the nudging thoughts that the choices presented will never be accommodating enough to various player-types. More choices and scenes have also been added, as well as customization systems, but it is still far short of what I had set as my goals. 
Still, I must push through this temporary downer and keep progressing! 
But, if all goes well, I may graduate from college as soon as the summertime! 
This unexpected suddenness of an early graduation has forced me into the position of undertaking a gap year before pursuing a Master’s Degree, yet it should still be a fruitful time as I pursue internships / teaching experience / self-improvement in my physical and mental health. At least, I hope this shall be the case. Among all this shall also be my devotion towards embracing rather than hiding my passion for creative writing as 2022 unfolds, and I will have a published demo by my birthday! Or, at least, that is my firm ambition for this year for a bare minimum by August!! It shall be done!!
November/December have been weird writing wise for me. I’ve been grappling with burnout as this year has been… a lot, so I’m behind where I’d have liked to be. But on the flip side, I have made a lot of progress on Chapter 7, and I’m feeling good about it, so that’s lovely!
