This game has been absolutely fantastic. I really do enjoy how fleshed out each of the magical paths are. I’ve always had a fondness for games that really present magic as a subsection of scholarly fields and this game just nails that.it hints at the complications involved, but doesn’t get bogged down in the minutiae, a very diificult (and impressive) balance to strike. And it makes sense, the MC is an archmage at their peak, they don’t need to explain this stuff, it’s like breathing for them. My only kind-of complaint is that after playing through, I’m kind of left wanting more, maybe I’m just spoiled by cataphrak, but I really would enjoy some kind of codex to elaborate on some of the most interesting noodle incidents and implements alluded to.
Side note, and I only mention it here because this game had me thinking of it, it would be really awesome if you guys could find a way to sync the app and the website more. I play on my phone because I enjoy reading on my phone more than my laptop, but it would be nice to be able to get it on the app and the website without having to buy the same game twice.
Okay, I give up: how do I romance the angel? I got her approval up to 77% and she still shut me down when we went on the date in Heaven. And then she tried to kill me because I was so focused on wooing her that I failed to ascend.
Is it possible to be succesful at ascending, saving Harpe and being respected by the other mages or the point is that we have to choose one of these things?
I love the fact if you don’t want ascend you can Mara wanted be immortal not ascend to Heaven. So I get my favourite end ever as Golden Goddess Mara patron of free thinkers bards and artists in my own city state far better ending for me to ascend and be bored in heaven
