I don’t think the correct response to “I really don’t want to to start on a title with a few hundred terms to learn” is to recommend one with a few thousand terms to learn.

We’re not even going into how the majority of the romances do not come into play until the third book.

No, sorry but I wouldn’t recommend that one. Or I would only recommend one playthrough. Even tho the ROs have different backgrounds and they are supposed to have different personalities too they are too similar when you replay the game and go for a different RO. The only one imo who has their own personality is the ex but they are… Uh, well opinions differ here

I was going to recommend Paradox Factor but then I saw “romance”. And you already played Wayhaven. Perhaps give A Midsummer Night’s Choice a try.

Cerulean Heart (mobile) discontinued, author is planing a remake but the app is still in the playstore. Not sure about the Apple store
Also I don’t think it’s out yet but this game by GB patch looks great  GB Patch Updates — Our Life: Beginnings & Always

Kinda surprised no one has mentioned My Day Off yet. That’s gotta be the most chilled COG ever.

EDIT: …ok the person above me did.

Has anyone mentioned: Tally Ho!

This is where I’d recomend the OP to go next.

Ah, from the creator of lake of voices. I enjoyed that so I will watch this new one.

A Korean Odyssey… A/K/A Hwayugi. So well done it becomes the standard by which others are measured.
